My work place has a few different programs for fitness, one of them is The Conqueror Virtual Challenges. The program takes the fitness information from our smart phones and transfers it to a daily tally of running, biking and other fitness work outs for a distance met each day. The company that does these makes some really beautiful medals, so you can choose locations, movie trails such as The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and now Star Trek. Our workplace departments compete against each other and anyone from around the world can participate. For our firm, with employees in every state, it's been a pretty fun program to do. Getting the medals, well, it just makes you want to compete and receive them.
So... the latest program that came out is the Star Trek Strange New Worlds challenge, I just received the first medal and, Wow nice! All of these medals through this company have hidden parts and pieces that can be displayed. The Star Trek medal is fantastic. These are heavy thick high quality medals with magnetic parts, pieces that move and parts that can be displayed separately.
The Harry Potter program is awesome, you get sorted into houses and lol major competition between departments to add to the house totals on a daily basis. I have popped in over a thousand miles this year in hiking and biking, I can say whether you are in a company looking at a new fitness program or on your own, these get a bit addictive to complete. I think I will try The Lord of the Rings challenge at the beginning of next year, close to 900 miles to complete that series alone.
