I'm going to try to brighten the steel a little more like the nickel-plating of the real one and maybe soften up the edges with a hammer too.

Just some regular Birchwood Casey Perma Blue! I did use some matte spray afterward so the finish doesn't wear off from handling. Works like a charm.

I received my cone yesterday. It really is perfect. This coupled with the Roman weathered booster is as close as you can get. I'm totally satisfied! Thank you Chris!

Sweet Chris, fit lovely on the booster and work a treat when you put it inside the clamp. In fact it holds the booster and clamp very well if you trap the little tabs. In fact that hold is so solid I don't see why they would use cotter pins if one of these was used this way. With some modification could go inside the Balance Pipe?
