how far is back n chest out?
i had alsorts of issues nightmare:wacko,ended up cutting grooves to the inside of the piece allowing it to compress n give,while heating gently with heat gun.then once in situ resined n matted .

The alignment was only slightly off and I could of made it work...
However after looking at the chest from several angles it didn't have the shape I wanted and body filler wasn't going to fix it:cry
No problem though! I have repepped the chest and plan on attatching it to the back tonight and then resining it

Out with old and in with the new.... chest that is! :love

Before I resined the chest i attached it to the back with hot glue and popsicle sticks (not to be confused with MR. POPSICLE :lol)

Well let the photos speak for the progress....

ALSO GOT MY FOAM IN!

Its funny that you said that. The only reason I had popsicle sticks is because my wife demanded to get some after seeing your post and has made her own lil family of popsicle people :lol

Been doing lots of body filler and sanding lately....
Here's the new chest with some body filler done! Still more sanding to be done...

Started putting together the hand (by Zabana I believe).
WOW that thing is difficult!!

But I did manage to get some more body filler and details onto the CHEST and SHOULDERS :love

If everything goes as planned I hope to finish up the sanding and hit both of them with a coat of filler primer

On another note I'm still working on one of ZABANA's hands and that thing is just ridiculous... If possible, I may have one pepped before Labor Day weekend! But I'm a lake junkie and will spend the whole weekend at the lake so no progress will be made then :unsure

So hopefully I can have yall an update tomorrow night with photos!:thumbsup

Time to deliver on my promised update!

First the shoulder...
I decided to add some washers to the sides of it to give it some more detail, may not be accurate as some may like but oh well...

After glueing those on I sprayed each shoulder bell with some filler primer
I'll still have to sand them again with some very fine paper before actual paint.

Next I added some detail lines to the chest and sprayed it with some filler primer. (the slots on both sides of the chest still need some work done to them but I still haven't decided how to tackle it)

Well that's it for now! Hope to have more updates soon.

i love the progress. got a question for you. how do you plan on doing the feet and how the heck do you size them. once i do mine im just worried about wearing them and about them cracking from my weight on top of them
