Limited Run Oblivion Movie Rifle - Second Run Capped!

UPDATE! - I shipped most of the second run people, if you haven't paid me for the rest of the amount, please get that in so I can ship your rifles. As far as a Third run goes, the molds are dead, I'm gonna try for a few more castings, but I'm not sure how many. Shells are a possibility, but I'm cautious at this point. PM me for price and details and I'll see what i can do to make it happen. Once again, thank you all for your patience and support.

Thanks Wondersquid, that's great news, I look forward to the shell pieces. Thanks for doing this, I have a small space left on my wall for this rifle, cheers!

Someone on this thread pointed me to them. They were on digi-key I think. I'm glad you found them, I don't have that many left.

Hey Wondersquid,

I got the shell parts today and they look great, can't wait to get started.

Do you have any castings available for the magazine clip? I have the Masada airsoft but don't want to cut down my clip.

Thanks.

I picked up my Masada from Mal along with a couple of his kits when I was in US over summer. Mal it was great to finally meet - hope all is well with you and your family. I know this turned into an epic effort for you, but has resulted in a fantastic replica

Im hoping to put the shell on the rifle, the initial quick fit showed that I might need to modify some of the shell.
If I ever get time to devote to this I will post a build log, but dont hold your breath. I want to have a fully functioning airsoft - the rifle still fires even after being taken to bits for casting (thanks for looking after it Mal). Im also looking to see if I can embed a red dot scope in the scope housing.

For all the folks that have the joys of trying to get deliveries through customs, I took the Masada and kits out of US to UK (Heathrow) without any problems, but when trying to get a domestic flight in UK the airline insisted that the airsoft "toy" be classed as a firearm ?!?!? with the associated costs and hassle for me. Was not great experience for my wife and kids, but at least I got it all home :)
Now if only my tomenosuke turns up I will be a happy chap

Paid balance on Sep 24, 2014. :D

Thank you! Casting up the last few kits as we speak.

Does anyone know of a tutorial to put the shell parts on to a Masada airsoft?

I'm hoping to create some video tutorials on assembly of the rifle and shells soon. Sorry for the delays, so very busy with day job work!

I'm sorry that you didn't get the clip! I will cast a full clip for you and send it out soon. As to modifying for an ACTUAL clip, Soulinteria did that already, I believe he has a link to the tutorial somewhere in this thread.

Hey nostromo 20. Will Mals kit pass through UK customs if sent in the mail?

I live in the UK and I received my kit safely for anyone doubting UK customs. Oh on the subject of this prop is there any guide to where all the pieces in the plastic bag go? I've figured out a few pieces but I'm guessing for the rest.. Any close up pics of the small pieces would be great if anyone can post them (the big parts I have got all stuck together)

Hey everyone, I understand there is some confusion on assembly, I'm sorry that I couldn't create instructions, but I'm making a video tutorial on assembly if you can be patient with me. :)

Some of the small plastic parts are for creating the clip eject and cocking handle work. That's what the springs are for too. Also for the trigger. If you want just the static prop, then go thru this thread and look back at my original assembly, I believe I show where to glue the small parts. I'll work harder to get these instructions up soon.

Most of it is self explanatory but ye just a few confusing pieces, will check back over the thread and see what I can find :)
