isn't it possible to have a slight line routed instead of a raised area? Maybe it would be too small for tool to make it precise. So why not a raised area, but maybe it's not that important. I'm looking forward to see you last model, maybe just tweaking the depth and shape of the inside part will make it accurate enough.

I've just updated the project run thread with some new images. I've made a few refinements to the models. This build kind of depends on getting the numbers now... I'm prepared to take it in a different direction if it doesn't fly. It would be great if we could make this a reality though:
