Noble's Website Mauraders Map vs DVD "Collector's Edition" Map?

Walmart sells a Harry Potter Collector's Edition DVD set that includes a Marauder's Map made by the Noble Collection (Shown here at Amazon.com -no picture at Walmart's site ) I read in another post here that the map in the DVD set is smaller and not as detailed as the one sold through Noble's website.

Does anyone have more specifics about the differences between the two? Dimensions? Details? Side by side photos? I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worth it to get the Collector's Edition DVD set.

The DVD set version is a nice bonus, but that's all it can be taken for. It's not as detailed as the large/full-ish (I say "full-ish" because it's not entirely accurate) version directly from Noble...

Also, you can see some images of the DVD bonus version here in the Paper Prop forum: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=75848

Its not worth getting Melissa, I'll post some side by sides here in a bit.

Thanks for the reply!

Excellent! Thank you for that link. I wonder why that post didn't show up when I searched the forum???

(Now that I think of it, I think there may be a cookie problem on this computer. Sometimes after I sign in, I still get the "you're not signed in" message. I bet that affected what showed up in my searches. Grrrrrrrrr! -Thank you both again!)

If you lacked the cookie, then you definitely didn't get that thread. The "Paper Props" subforum is restricted to members; in fact, I think you have to have 20 posts before you even see it.
