Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

So yesterday I wore the shoes from 8pm to 4am. No problems what so ever. I walked all over San Diego. A little dirty but hardly any wear. View attachment 647131View attachment 647132View attachment 647133View attachment 647134

Sole protector might be the way to go for all of us, There is no damage to the rubber just normal dirt. Did the lights never die out?

StreetFashion currently in first place guys. Also how to you apply the CrepProtect

If push comes to shove and these wear down too fast, the pyramid tread is easy to reproduce. I am thinking of making a generic shoe sole of the stuff for my Esty store anyway.
That's what i'm looking for : a sole to put better uppers than the Hc or V2 (or other special designs)

Total walking time in these so far has been roughy 11 hours. Probably about 6-7 miles on carpet, grass, pavement, gravel, stairs. Lights lasted minimum of 6 hours and weren't even dimming. I suspect you could get 9-10 hours maybe more. I cleaned up the soles with dish soap, little bit of water and a paper towel. Looks like there is some "staining" maybe that was oil or something that reacted to the clear rubber. Still they look darn good. Since these will be my "wear pair" I won't be cleaning them every time I wear them image.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

you know what I am not sure if this as come up, but what do you think is the life span of these? any guesses

They're all too new for anyone to say how long the shoes will last, but Jedifyfe's wearing them a lot to see what happens - the tests are on. I'll be wearing mine a lot (when they arrive) too.

Ideally I would like to have a normal wear pair, special events wear pair and a display pair.

I don't have them in hand yet but based on the pics it looks like polyurethane, so around 10-15 years on average for wearability. after that keep them on the shelf.

(im a vintage sneaker collector so I know this from experience)

Anyone else had problems with WU payment?
I sent my money to David yesterday.
But today he says he can't withdraw the money for some reason.
But can't tell me why...

No problem with my payment.
After I got paid, I got a response from Martha saying :
"got your payment , we are processing your order now , anything update we will e-mail you"
They haven't sent me my QC pics yet, but I did only pay on Friday.
Got another "still processing" email today after I asked for updates.
If they are building the shoes as they go, I suppose these things take time. Size 10 is a common size.
As for problems with WU payments, the receiver can't access the funds if you put even one letter wrong as I found out once. Double-check the info you put on the form, and also the payment number that you have to send them. Maybe one character is wrong?

How could I oversee this?!
Thnx for the heads up DragonGalvy
I must have looked over this 3x.

Seems there is a spelling error.

I tried to change it though, but no luck.
Hopefully I can cancel the Payment and make a new one instead.

Fingers crossed...

I feel sorry for David,
He went at 2 WU offices to try and withdraw.

(Embarrassing) lol

Did you use all the details supplied? WU used to be quite loose - IE all you needed was a name and country. Now you need both First and Surname (and sometimes a middle name), address (which is supposed to include a street address), province or county/shire, city and country. Plus they also want a phone number now too.

Actually quite the opposite..
What you describe is what I had to do when I ordered my V2's last year.
But now since the WU app is available,
The only information required is Name/Last name and country.
The rest is optional.
The only thing you'd have to choose is local pickup or on their account.

Hey guys,

I see that there have been some size issues and to get a half size down, but what about width? How do they run? I have slightly wide feet and want to make sure that I can fit into them before I throw down $600. Thanks!

You know.... Marty's wearing the Nike Mags when he's forced to jump into the courthouse reflecting pool to avoid Griff's attack. When he shows up at Hilldale later in the film, the lights still work. That means these shoes should theoretically be waterproof. Someone should dunk theirs in water to make sure it's true to the film, otherwise, we have more modding to do. :p

From the feedback from those that have these, the middle sizes (8, 9, 10 and 11?) are correct, the smaller (7) and larger sizes (12), run large.

You can use your shoes for the Beta Tester ;)

I guess my question is what is "correct?" do they run narrow, normal, or wide? Again, I am only worried about width. Nike is all over the place in terms of width. I wear an 8.5 and if that size runs TTS great, but I'm screwedbif they run narrow because the top of my foot is tall and my feet are slightly wide.

If they are at least average width I should be fine. Sorry for the confusion and thanks in advance for the info!

Can't answer that because I don't have these yet. I think they are based on standard EEE widths.

I got hit with a custom fee in the UK and it was £3.75, I know David marks the value as $27.40

But doesn`t this low value even increase suspicion at customs that these are counterfeit products? Customs here in my region are so strict, when I cleared authentic shoes from the US a couple of weeks ago, a woman next to me got her fake shoes from China seized and the custom officers bragged about seizing every pair of shoes from China…these V3 are amazing, so close but I just can`t risk losing 600$! Does David refund if the shoes are seized?
