Saw it on reddit this morning. Supposedly those new unbranded shoes are "officially licensed" by Universal.

sooo the "officially licensed" versions are MP/V2 hybrids? the collar's overall look and shape screams MP to me. wouldn't hurt to snatch a pair and do the V2 mods to em! another thing that reminded me of Markpoon's is that u gotta add your own logos, so yea a mix of both versions lol

Vinyl is probably the best material for them. You can either cut them out yourself with scissors or pay to have them professionally cut. DIY = FREE.

They are the exact same knockoffs that have been available since 2012. They are actually worse than the normal knockoffs slightly.
The differences are as follows:
No Nike Mag lettering moulded on the heel.
No Nike swoosh.
Plain white strap with no nike logo and visible stitching.
Visible white stitching around the lace area (unlike the existing knockoffs which are better in this regard)
a circular hole instead of triangular hole in the collars.
The actual white puffy piece of the collars shape has been slightly changed, its now more puffy, and less straight, seems the shape has been distorted on purpose.
Other than that, they are identical to the existing knockoffs, as they are made by the same factory.

Why would you want to airbrush?
All you need is white leather or faux leather in white.
Its not that hard to do.
Draw a swoosh and glue it on.
I'd flatten the lace bulges first though.

because i have zero knowledge of shoe modification, i just draw and paint.
so if they are from the same factory they have the same chance of the electronics shorting out immediately or not working to begin with but if so then at least i could return them purchasing these.

Man it goes to show you how overpriced the existing V2s are. A seller was just found for these at $200 instead of $250, but I knew that was still way over what these should go for. Now we have these alternate V2s that have been de-Nikefied and de-accurized and suddenly the Chinese sellers are able to sell them for HALF of the new $200 price and still make a profit?!! I wonder if these will impact the sales of the original more accurate V2s and make them drop the price of those to $150 or so...
