I am not sure how many more times I need to say this. The yellowing of the rubber is ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE CROSS SECTION. It is not progressive by layers because it is transparent and light can reach the CORE.

Yes completely agree with you. With seaglow you need to apply it as much as you need to i.e. if your soles aren't that yellow one or two coats are usually fine. If they have turned pi$$ yellow then you may need to do more coats.

But if you're making your own soles with UV inhibitor that would definitely be an improvement on the stock standard soles anyways. You're V2 replacement soles were awesome and I bet your V3s will be just as good!

If you want to try out some seaglow let me know I'll send you enough to do a couple of coats to try it out otherwise you need to order from island girl products and it's not exactly cheap. Or theres others out there like solebright or you can even look up recipes on how to make your own sauce online.

I usually only see these inverters in 3, 9 and 12v variants. I have some tiny (15mm x 15mm) inverters on order that run between 2.2v to 5v but operate at a totally different frequency than the one you have and may cause the el to light up a slightly different color.

If anyone has their V3s torn down and has the ability to measure frequency, I'd love to know how many hz the V3 inverter runs at.

2011 Real deal on the right. That's the color we need to get accomplished on clear sole.
I bought Royal Blue in clear pigment. 5 or 6 drops will turn a 2kg of clear rubber blue enough to match the 2011 MAG sole.
