Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Alright guys I need your expert advice about how to clean this. I was frying a turkey today and when I put it in, it splattered and a little oil got on the MAGS. What would be the best way to clean these and get this out?

DUDE! You don't go cooking in you MAGs.

The only thing that will (maybe) pull that out is warm soapy water. Like hot, but still cool enough to allow you to put your hand in. A squirt of dish soap, a (new) clean chux cloth, wet, squeeze and pat the upper and hopefully the combination of heat and soap dissolve the oil and pull out the stains.

gonna have to finish these ones :)

What I got was 2000 grit sandpaper from home depot and then sanded them down for about 15-20 mins each, then I got some automotive clear coat, sprayed it a little container and then brushed it on.

But I will be purchasing LED boards from @jjdelp soon. I like how much dimmer his are and looked almost identical to the RDs.

This is the cheapest they are going to sell them for a while, so either buy them now or stop complaining. You're not going to change anything by doing so

Wow, that's a hell of a difference. Gonna have to try that on my pair [emoji1303]

talcum powder will take away the moisture from the oil. leave it on the stains for 24 hours then shake off. after that use a shoe cleaning kit. i recommend jason markk cleaning kit.

WOW really? I'd be scared to put that powder anywhere near these shoes.

When I dremiled the last set of clear soles off my V2 (to go from a failed EL system and back to GITD), the white "powder" it created got into the weave of the fabric and did not just shake out. It was a major PITA to get clean again.

yeah you just have to make sure the power is put on the oil stain. i never thought it would work but boy it works like a charm. don't over do it with the powder tho!! just enough that it covers the stains.

OK. So would be best applied with the tip of your finger or maybe even a cotton bud?

Yeah I read about the talcum powder but was hesitant about it. I'll give that a shot. I'm not too worried since this is only my wear pair but would love to get the oil out of it.

I would get some in to the palm of my hand and then sprinkle some layers of the powder on to the stain.

let us know how it goes. Remember to leave it on the stains for 24 hours

if the powder would not shake out, you might be able to vacuum it out? I'd start off with the power set to low and work my way up.

Guys , Nike air mag from sneakerahead.ru is now $450 for Black Friday, if you haven't already bought a pair. You should right now!! http://www.sneakerahead.ru/nike-air-mag-back-to-futurespecial-for-30-days-p-174444.html

Thanks for this incredible good news !
I am waiting to buy the V3 since 3 or 4 months because i am always hoping that a new version will come with a much better quality on the el panel and the wires.
Do you think that this will be done in the next few months by David ?
Or I should buy it now and waiting that one of you make customs to increase all the technical details ? ( el panel, wire connection .. )
If i am asking this it's because I would like to wear them often for few hours.

thanks guys,
