Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

cavx - since I'm one of the members here who has most of the many versions of the MAG, here's some comparison shots of a 9.5 V2 and my 10 V3's.
Have you tried on your 10's to see what they're like? My V3 10's fitted just right. (though I did put that special insole in)

Nope, not yet. They are now on display on my Matty HoverBoard.

Looks like I am getting the charger shipped out soon.

Dude, if you can't afford these, fine. Stop crapping on the affordable version of these shoes everyone else has waited 27 years for.

Well I pulled the sock liner out and compared that to my V2 sock liner and they are the same size.
I still need a charger because I just had them running for a video I shot and I can feel heat coming from the LEDs. To me, this means, as the voltage drops, the lights are pulling more current to maintain the wattage and over all brightness. So these will go flat soon.

I don't have a problem my friend..but people here has a lot of different problems...you don't see the pictures?its replica for damage and scratch.yes a lot of people like me waiting 27 years for original air mags not fake for 499 dollars.that is my problem..if you sale this shoes for 200 dollars its ok..

There is NO WAY they are going to sell them for $200. The V2 sells for just under $200 if you're lucky. Trust me, these are well above the quality of the V2. These are the alternative instead of paying at least $5,000 on the RDs. If you don't have these shoes then you won't really see or feel the quality for yourself. These shoes are well worth it for the $450-$500 that you pay for them.

I think he is asking if $200 is worth it for a pair that needs to be fixed.

It comes down to supply and demand. NIKE will NEVER release the MAG as a consumer product. In 2011, they made and sold 1500 pair and got as much as they could with an auction which raised just under $5M (that was later matched by eBAY). In 2016, they made a power laced version and sold just 89 pair via a lottery. I do think the lottery was more fair as it gave more people a chance to own these shoes.

My point being, you will NEVER walk into FOOTLOCKER or some high end sports shoe shop and see these on a shelf.

So as fans of the film and this shoe, we have NO CHOICE but to buy replicas out of China. After the games in 2008, the Chinese learned something that radically changed their way doing business with the west - make smaller runs of a better quality product and the west will pay more for them.

This is WHY we are paying $499 for a replica of the NIKE MAG. Do we want to pay that? Of course not. If we could get these for $200, those of use that bought these should would have bought 2 and 3 pair. When I visited China in 2010, I was shocked to see the prices of items in shops were the same as what we pay in our shops. At the time of my visit, 2500 Yuan (RMB) was about $480 Australian. An item costing $60 in Australia was 280Yuan. After dollar conversion, it was not much cheaper to buy in retail there.

The prices we pay online would be the same as retail there, except as I mentioned. you won't find these in any shop.

To add to that, and this goes against the way I normally think, but I appreciate that these replicas are still somewhat exclusive. The wow factor I get when people see them in person is totally worth it. And that's a reaction you wouldn't get if they were in fact available at every Footlocker. And I'm not just talking about the price point, I'm talking about the process of acquiring them.

Something I wrote years ago soon after the 2011 MAGs released, was that while we were (and still are) all mad at Nike for their limited release nonsense, the benefit after the V2's came out is that we get to enjoy the MAG's "exotic" factor. To me they're comparable to an exotic car. When someone sees a Ferrari or Lamborghini or whatever on the road, they have a huge wow factor because people know what they are, but rarely see it so it's super cool and exciting when they do. The MAGs get the same reaction, because of how rare they are and the exclusivity of the price. With our reps, we get to enjoy that world while most people in public don't know the difference, they get excited nonetheless and it's fun for us. Had Nike made them a wide release, you'd see them everywhere and they wouldn't be special anymore. Imagine a world where 1 in 5 people drive a Ferrari everyday and you saw them all the time. That would be no fun at all. As much as we gripe about the way Nike handled things, I'll give them major credit on keeping these shoes "special." They knew what they were doing.
