These look great but there are two things I see. There's a spot on the outside toe on the left shoe which I'm scared will look worse in person and spots on the back of the left shoe too. But otherwise I think I'm going to take them.

Do you guys see anything else that I've looked over?

I was thinking about EL wire the other day. Do you think it would be possible to have EL wire in the sole? I was thinking about it outlining the EL panel cavity that's cut out, and use the wire instead of the panel.

I couldn't get the picture on camera correctly.

But i've done a test with the V3 EL panel and my other EL Panel.

The V3 EL panel when lighting up with a double coin cell 6v Inverter is actually Aqua Blue. With a 3v inverter, it stays Aqua Blue.

My other EL Panel when lighting up with a double coin cell 6v inverter is actually Cyan Green. If i use a 3v inverter, the colour is same, even with 9v, it stays Cyan green.

Normally I've been led to believe that an EL panel is always one colour regardless of what power supply its given, from my own experience, so i'm not sure how they've done these V3.

I'll have to do a side by side test with the V3 and the seperate V3 EL panels to see the actual colour difference in shade.

I just bought a pair of v3 second hand and am really happy with them. The lights don't work which I am fine with. But they had creases in the front so I ironed them out. They are gone but where they were wet from the cloth I put over them there is a stain you can see it in the photo.
I might just iron up till the laces and let it blend in. Any ideas?

Edit: I just took a sponge and moistened it a little and it went away.

There must be a fair amount if dust contamination in the materials they are using here for these. I've never had this issue with any of the V2s.

I don't know how they did it either. I've tried 3v, 9v & 12v inverters and couldn't get the correct color. I tried a tiny 3v inverter like the one markpoon uses in his strap kit and it made the el kind of a darker blue. The other inverters I have range in frequency from 2200hz to 4000hz and they still look aqua blue. Not sure of the hz on the tiny 3v but something is different about it to make a darker blue than all the others. I'd be curious to see what color a cyan green panel with the V3 inverter would be.

3v small inverter like we all used in the V2s

3v tiny inverter like what's used in markpoons strap kit

Camera picked it up well, definitely a color difference and neither are cyan green.
