Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Need your help, I'm looking to ordre from sneakerahead . Considering this will set me back 300$ US, want to make sure you've had a good experience with them and that the shoes are the actual V3 everyone folks are talking about. Do these come with an replica box also? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Where do you see them for $300? They're $499 on David's site sneakerahead.ru

It'll set you back at least $450 not $300. Many people on this forum have had great service from them, my self included.

Thanks guys. So for all other newbies, beware of sneakerahead.ru on instagram. seems like it's a scam.

thanks. How good is the Sporsts version versus the V2? and... would you know where I can get the V2? hoping they are cheaper than the V2.s

I like the slimmer cuff on the Sports version, but I don't like how they used a vinyl material for the collar. It is really shiny and just looks "added on" Also the strap has stitching like the HC MAG. Honestly, how hard is it to makes these out cloth, no stitching on the strap and no branding and keep them around $100?

Yes, I am wanting reliable electronics and I think that will be the most durable solution. Yep the PS4 controller is a very good example of how well an LED can be diffused. They use just one small SMD led to light up the whole light bar. I am still playing with my molds and setting the LEDS right, but it does seem they need to be around 1/4" away from the front of the dome to actually diffuse fully with no hot spots. I'll definitely have to cut a notch out in the mid-sole to fit them in though.
Cool, I see that I'm not the only one looking at every light source possible to get them better and without thoses Fragile EL panels :/
I ran some tests but I couldn't find a good semi-opaque diffuser to use, so if you make them (silicone maybe ?) I'll probably be interested (I'm kind f bored of doing stuffs and not finishing all my shoes because of my lack of motivation when it comes to electronics) ;)

There are companies that make something like this already.

They can even do shapes...

Of course, it would probably take a special order to get the shapes that are needed for Mags.

I have been playing with the light boards you speak up for a while. You can do Light in a light. ;) @cavx @RVLF @WizardBTTF I just need to diffuse the light under the light and will start doing really nice things.

Sneakerhead.ru is not a scam in my opinion

Now that's how you swap the battery, Wire a whole new computer board. And rewire the LEDs to make work again. Another happy v3 owner.

You must be talking about fake domes like these. I'm always like 12 steps ahead. You gotta love it. I can send you some of this material to play with if you need. WizardBTTF

I always will have much respect for Marc Poon and his work for sure..still a great shoe..but Davids v3 blew my mind..

I agree with you @cavx that they kinda look better..the overall shape looks a little more well balanced I think..but thats always a matter of size too..need to get a pair to germany..somehow..

Have you messaged David directly to see if they will ship to Germany as a one off?

I'm not a business and don't have set prices. I like to help people and work with their budgets if I can and time allows. But typically here is the rule. I've been charging around 200 if I make and replace LEDs. Fake el panels is more work and many elaborate ways to do it by either tapping into existing computer board or making a whole new system. And also you have to find Aqua LEDs. If not then you have to make smart LEDs. Which adds another computer board. Etc etc etc. basically I csn crank through led swap quick. Changing el panel to led will cost more and is where I will work with you on budget. spider2465 Devilnash
also I know some places That will make certain size panels that you want on special order. May end up making a big batch. Make a little thicker and stronger than the original panels.

$70 bucks for boards. $35 each. I'll make them. Replace if something Happens that is my fault. And pay to ship
