Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

So, had a look at the v3s, Gotta say they look pretty sweet, but is that site legit? Has anyone used it and have good feedback? Seriously considering a pair if I can manage the capital as it's the closest I think I'll get to the real deals.

I ordered 2 pairs (separately) and they both arrived, both pairs lighting work perfectly, and look awesome. Many other people on here have bought from them too. I used Western Union to get further discount (and not provide my debit card details)

It is not lighting or a stain but appears to be a dimple or pinched fabric. I don't like it. Going to ask for another pair. It's a shame, otherwise they look good. Do these look like the new lighter gray material?

What do you all think is the best way to make the straps? 2 pieces, staggered, glued down on one another or 1 long strap thread through the buckle, folded over, and then glued down? I don't want to have to make another set again so I really want to get them right this time.

I usually make them from two pieces, but I do attach them around the buckle. Hard to explain but :
First i attach a piece around the buckle and glue it with shoegoo or heavy duty gel glue on about 2cm.
Next, a sew this close to the loop I created to secure everything.

Then, I report the mesurements on to cut the logo hole, place the logo EL or GITD (using superglue to the edges)

The last step is glueing another piece of vinyl next to the loop end made from the first piece.
But I cut a little shape like this ( > ) :

So I can pass the wires in.
I'll post pictures when I make another one (I'll have to make another one for my new Buildups in few weeks)

I've been speaking with a road case manufacturer about having some cases made to look like the 2011 yellow plutonium display case and found a company that would build them for $299 shipped ($269 shipped if I got 6 or more people interested).

It wouldn't have the pull out top or plexiglass box, but it would be a good base to build a display off of. Does that sound like a good deal? I can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on it...but I'm also tired of having my Mag's in the box, in my closet. LOL

i once did a cad drawing with radio controlled lift systems. When you switch the shoes will pop up. You can build your own flight case, its a basic build.

I can measure the Chinese box from the v3 when I get home if you want :)

that would be great!

Well I was going to pay for my Mags via paypal because I figured it was the safest route but just learned from Joyce they want you to send it as friends and family anyway which offfers no protection and is going to end up costing me $508... now I'm thinking I may as well do western union and only pay $454. How did the transaction go for anyone who paid paypal and for anyone who paid with WU?
