Getting back to the custom color ways, it'd be cool to see the Bruin red/white scheme.

So, had a look at the v3s, Gotta say they look pretty sweet, but is that site legit? Has anyone used it and have good feedback? Seriously considering a pair if I can manage the capital as it's the closest I think I'll get to the real deals.

How can you guys tell the differences between the V3's and the real ones? What do you look for specifically?

There are several things (at least 10). The two biggest tell tails are the longer tongue and the soles are not blue. The box looked too beat up to be a genuine as well.

The V3s have a cloudy plastic over the heel LEDs - that's what I look for.

That, and the shape of the cuff, the fabric itself (though the colour has been changed to be more grey), the shape of the buckle is slightly off, the shape of the inner part of the mid-sole is slightly off, there is no line under the midsole around the rim. I can go on and I don't even own these yet.

Could be lighting, could be a stain. Over all they look good. The splatter is random, so you expect that to differ from shoe to shoe.

i love how the 7s look - much closer to Tinker's original sketch.
The biggest give away are the soles not being blue and the toe box is slightly more bulbous than the RD.
