LOL sound like you got the one battery that actually holds charge. Shame the wire broke and you can't re-charge it.

I ordered on 3/6 from Joanna.
Shipped on 3/10, tracking didn't work til the 12th.
Only shipping updates were when it was accepted in China and when it left China. It didn't update again until it got to the U.S.
It was in customs for a day and cleared but then took 3 days til it randomly just popped up as out for delivery.
Received yesterday 3/23.
Shoes were fine, box mushed as expected.
Next to my modded HC pair.
Toe slimmed on the right.
Where I'm at as of last night, first shoe painted.
A few quick comments:
The HC are less accurate but I gotta say they are made better than the V2.
Toe slimming with the steam Iron was way easier on the HC.
They are for sure a whole size bigger than the HC in the same size.
Still debating if I'm gonna do the el sole, honestly I don't think I am going to unless I can get cavx clear soles as I cant justify ripping off the soles only to put back on the non uv soles.
Things I still have to do:
Paint other shoe
El strap mod
Angelus sole dye kit
That will put me at a comfortable wearing point as when I have worn my HC's I have rarely left the lights on other than to show someone as I have worn them casually out and about.
Figuring I will wait and see in the next months if we hear anything about an official Nike release before I pour $300 more in on electronics, soles and ankle cups.

I ordered 2 pairs from Karin (months ago), both arrive in 6 days and tracking never really work for me...
I know it's annoying but you should get your shoes before anything new came up.

This is interesting. So it really the slight shape difference and the extra puffy cuff that makes these look short. They are shorter, but why what, 1/4"?
I just wish they had used the same V2 upper and unbranded it.

just finished painting and sealing both shoes. Kinda hard to capture the color in the pictures.

Thanks Cavx, looking forward to see more on your soles as right now that is my biggest peeve with the v2 is how opaque the sole is.
The HC is much more clear, ima try angelus sole dye and see if it comes out satisfactory enough for me.

Interesting because I have been using talc in my molds to take the soles from glass clear to slightly frosted. It seems that is what everyone wants.

If I get my toe box finished, I think I might repaint my shoes with an airbrush and add a little metallic fleck to give it more of the sheen I remember seeing. I think I'll go with more of a green/blue turquoise splatter too like in certain photos.
