NIKE MAG Knockoffs

does anyone know if the size 9 markpoons will fit me? im a size 10 please get back to me !:cool
No...... they wont don't let the hype fool you like it did me I ordered a pair an /
it was told to me that the shoe can fit up to a size 10.5 that is not true it is like a 8.5 in china size so you do the math but if you want a display of bttf shoe i rec-amend the markpoons because they are the closest thing to the movie versions hope this helps..

Do you actually want to wear them or just know that they will fit? I am size 10 and the pair I have fit, but tight. They are supposed to be 9 or 9.5, but compared to the size 8 KMAGs, the MP shoes are only slightly larger and they are way smaller than my 10s.

My first Mark Poon conversion Mag.

Not completely happy. The dye on the sole came out too dark, tbe paint splatter looks off and the swoosh seems off also.

I like how flush the toe is. I was able to use real leather for the strap and the swoosh so those give it a little more legitimacy. I suddenly have a lot more respect for people working in Nike factories making these kinds of things on millisecond schedules.

Not bad but these will definitely be my "stunt" pair.

Right guys some news from me (been a while)
1) Waiting on S02 to send out my electronics kit for my display pair of markpoons MAG's
2) I've drawn out the dimensions for a 90% accurate strap buckle which I am to have 3d printed

What will that cost you? I decided to skip that process because they wanted $350 for it. Besides, making bucks and Vac Forming them is much more fun :cool

***** that's ridiculous. From one printing place I've found there are a lot more intricate items costing about $20, so I'd assume around $50 a piece. I'll wait until my friend has rendered my drawing and then I'll ask for a quote.

Also don't be too quick to dismiss lights in knockoffs... Nike Air Force One Light Up Black Orange Save 30%-70% OFF

***** that's ridiculous.

Tell me about it. The total cost of my Vac Form Table [and all the plastic so far in prototyping this part] is less than that.

And whilst not screen accurate, at least I have a matching pair that look quite good on the shoes.

They look good, but I'd say LED, not EL. Are they a genuine NIKE shoe or a knock off? If they are Chines knock off, then that could become good news for us.

How strong are those new buckles? Can you pull the strap tight while putting on the shoe?

I'm actually surprised by how durable the buckle on my MPs are. I've heard of them tearing etc but i've pulled those straps as tight as I could, walked around and had no issues.

Speaking of the MPs, I sprayed one of my pairs with some product that's supposedly used for the express purpose of dulling down the shine on certain fabrics. The Shoe looks much better with the sheen taken down. Will post a pic when I get back home.

They are pretty strong. The material I used is 3mm ABS and after the Vac Form pull, the material is still at least 1.5mm with 2mm in places.

One of mine broke mine during the very first test wear. I have since reinforced them with 100mm PVC pipe. I bet that never tears.

^^ wow. the shoes look really great. Too bad I can't buy a pair of MPs because they're too small for me. But everybody customizes them and they look great. Anybody know where I can find an ALREADY assembled (basic plug-n-play) EL Strap for my V1 Knock offs? I don't really have the time to piece it together and mess around was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction.

The MPs with some of the shine taken down.
They look really good. Is that just shadow or is one of the straps holes broken. Actually, I wish the MP and K-MAG shoes didn't have those eyelets. They are not supposed to be there anyway.

Nah, It's just the neoprene showing through where the stitching is a little iffy. I'm really in two minds about whether to pull the show apart there and redo the laces to be more screen accurate.

I'm quite happy with these for a first trimers pair. I just need to put in those ankle bubbles, maybe add a new buckle and then I can put more time into my scratch-built pair.

Those look awesome dude. If they're durable I wouldn't mind a pair from you. Those trainers were Chinese knockoffs. Naturally I don't know how durable they'll be but being in some form of mass production I'd assume as good as the better conversions on here are.

Just another thing to point out. I'm perfectly happy with the foam buckles for my display pair but I need a durable pair for my wear out pair as the foam ones do tear easily as you've noticed. So that's why I'm going the 3d printing route as the plastic should be strong enough to withstand the tension of a tighter strap. I wonder why they went with foam instead of plastic? And those ****ty straps that fall apart within two minutes of use. I'm really hoping to see cloneprops latest updates as the last I saw he'd made a brilliant heel cup, buckle, sole and transparent grips. If he manages to make a decent shoe form too then he's going to be the next markpoon

I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure Cloneprops said he'd have super small runs on his kits. I'm talking six per kit.

I asked him about putting me on the list for all three kits and he said maybe it was ok but he's on vacation right now so no updates on that waiting list yet.

Thanks lammmy. I'd say these will last (out last the K-MAGs) as they are thick.

I made another pair today. I just need to trim them down to see how they look, but the pull looks good so they should be OK. Like this pair, the new pair are done with the hair cell side exposed.

I did smooth side out on one but burned the ABS slightly and so whilst it pulled really good, and it has small dimples on the sides. I'll have another go and see if I can't perfect it. Even if I get another the same, I'd be happy with it on my shoes.

I am still learning how this Vac Forming works. ABS reacts to heat differently to PVC or HIPS, so I am wasting allot of material learning the ropes just to get the 3 pairs I need for my own shoes. One thing though, at least when I do my own scratch build, I'll have all the parts ready to go.

I am sure I will have wearable spares soon :)

Speaking of the foam buckle, I must have lucked out because mine is damn near impossible to break. I've worn a pair in Disneyland ALL DAY and yanked on those straps to tighten them with no tearing.

Maybe some runs had a slightly more durable foam?
