NIKE MAG Knockoffs

Hi all

I spoke to Michelle from shoesbag last night and she said this "don't worry about it
all of the factory is producing now
so we need time to get them"

I told her I was worried to order the nike mags, because they didnt have them in stock.

I`m confused by the whole thing :-(

Yeah, we all are. It's not so much a case of the left hand doesn't know what tbe right is doing...

...it's more like tbe right hand got possessed by the evil dead, Ash hacked it off and it's friggin mia.

well i have given Lebronjames10,com 4 weeks to refund me my money(stated by them was 1-3weeks) and still no refund...

so, i went to the bank just now and i have got my money refunded by them as i used mastercard, which is excellent news however the reason for my post is to let those aware who ordered from lebronjames10 that they didn't give a refund after they told me they would.

I hope those who are looking to buy these shoes from them have taken in what i have said and think very carefully when ordering from them.

Pickgoodshoes and shoebags are now the only two companies i will ever deal with in the future.

At least you got a response from them. I've never got anything.

With those sites, you havy to contact them through their payment gateway. "Reallypay" I think it is. I tried multiple times to contact and got nothing. I wrote a message through really pay and got a response in 24 hrs or so

Thanks for that. I have their email, so if I feel the need to chase them up, that is my first point. I am not cancelling my order BTW. I do think something will come soon. I just think that the sites were a little premature on this probably because of all the requests they would get for the MAG.

Here is my conversation with the rep over at pickgoodshoes.

I was paged? As I have told a few of you that have contacted me, I put this project on the back burner. To say the least, there were some complications that arose. Not with the build itself, but otherwise. I do not have the motivation to finish this at the moment, but rather work on a couple other projects that I have going at the moment.

Flame if you will, call me a bull****ter or what have you, but these won't be seen for a while. So now, it would be most interesting to see if anyone will receive these Chinese shoes even.

If anyone is interested in the light setup that I designed, I may sell those as a kit but as far as the shoe as a whole, I don't have the motivation. The light setup consists of a completely rechargable battery with charging port and charger, EL panels for the sole and strap, 12 LEDs for the heel. Only thing that I did was wire it to flash red when the battery is low, flash green while the battery is charging and stay solid green when the battery is finished charging. But I am sure some of you with some electrical know-how would be able to design such a setup.

Ok, holding off until you find motivation again. Any chance you could tell us what particular aspect of the shoe killed what was some spectacular excitement on your part? It would really help others know what this kind of build entails.

Anyway, my enthusiasm has not dropped off for these shoes. The I ended up cutting slot in the soles of last pair, but also cut the lace section down. I was just going unpick the parts I didn't like, but decided to do whole new pair.

I started this new pair last night, and so I've pinned the outer upper, sewn the upper inners, the tongues and the cuffs.

As for assembly, I don't want visible stitching, so I think the best plan of attack here is to stitch the upper inner to the upper outer but leave the other seam on the undone outer so it lays out flat. Then whilst I have access to the inside, stitch the cuff in upside down, then finish that off with some glue.

I also need to add the loops to the inner upper so the lacing system can move and pull tight.

I've added a tab to help attach the tongue.

The whole upper is about 1/2 that of a V1 K-MAG so I have at least succeeded in keeping the weight down :lol

/\ can we see a video of the light set up as you decribed?

Yes, I can make a video and upload it to Youtube. I will have to do a couple videos due to the LEDs flashing at different battery life intervals. I spent quite some time developing the circuit board to have the lights do what I wanted them to. Wiring would be about the same as a basic on/off setup with inverter.

Several pieces of the shoe including molds were destroyed during a personal dispute with my better half...or should I say worse half? Some of my other molds and tools for other items were trashed in the process as well. I would rather not rehash, but now I am working on finishing some other projects before trying to pick back up on the shoes. PM me if you want more info.

Wow, im surprised!!!! Im totally sure that you have a molds in a pair of weeks...
Anyway, please put photos of the process...of course if you have(I know that all of rpf users make photos of the process), but probably your answer would be: " I cant made any photos along the process, because blahblahblah"

Has anyone contacted any of the sites today to see if they have a excuse or update on dispatch? I've tried but still awaiting a reply unfortunately
