hi just wanted to know some input on a nice airbrush compressor and whole set price under 300 or so been wanting one for awhile for fishing lures and planning on buying a mask and painting it up so wanted to get one and practice at least thanks alot for all input

It kinda depends on what you are going to be painting with.

That really only affects the choice of airbrush though.

For heavy stuff like PAX, or Silicone paints, or Rubber Cement Paints, I use a Paasche H. It is worth buying the set with all three sizes of tip and needle. I like to use a number 5 tip and needle, but sometimes I will change the needle to a 3 or 1.
I recommend buying a separate H for each type of paint, and not mixing and matching. I would also suggest using the 1 oz glass bottles, not the plastic ones.

For something like an Alcohol Activated Make-up like Skin Illustrator, or Acrylic inks like Badger or FW, I like an Iwata Eclipse HPCS. It is worth the money. I have had one of mine for like 8 years, and it looks and works like new.

I buy quick disconnectors for my airbrushes so I can use just one hose, because the direct connector for Paasche is a weird size. I use a braided Iwata hose, because they are hard to get leaks with or break.

For a compressor, it is worth spending a bit extra. I like a middle of the road compressor like the Iwata Smart Jet Pro.\\I get all my stuff from Coast Airbrush. The service is unmatched. It is worth calling up to order if you have questions.
