Hello!

I'm Ryan and I'm located in Carlsbad California. My brother recently got a 3d printer, so I just use that for props :thumbsup

I made this account for cosplay stuff cuz:
1. I'm not some weeaboo on cosplay.com
2. this is more "nerd" oriented

I like video games, and cats, and yeah.
I go to comic con.
uhhhhh
that's it I guess

Hey everyone! I came across the rpf by looking at some pep files from tjack and the rpc studio. I've low-key followed and eyeballed almost every spidey post thread there is. The reason i came to the rpf is that it is a place for fandoms and cosplay! That's exactly why I created an account. You can check me out on my very minor cosplay account on . Instagram as spidermansupreme. So yeah... :)

Hi all, I'm happy to finally be part of the forum. My name is Flavio, from Italy, the sculpture is my passion. I hope you enjoy my work.
Regards

Hello!

I'm actually not here to build any of the costumes on this site. Sort of. I have a Krampus costume that I've worn to Cons, for Halloween, and some Krampus events. I have a Krampus mask that I bought in Austria, I have a Krampus whip that I also bought in Austria, and a switch that I made. I have a Krampus belt with lots of bells on it. I bought 1 big bell in Austria and the rest locally and on eBay, and I bolted them to the belt, added chains, rusted parts of it, etc. myself. I have a basket full of children stuffed into it as well that I assembled myself. :) What I am not happy with the the rest of the costume. IOW, the fur body suit. I basically bought a snow Gilley Suit and have been using that, but after seeing one of the hand-made latch & hook wookiee costumes at DragonCon a week ago, I knew that that was the way I had to go! A real Krampus suit would cost me between $500-$1000. :( This way, it is cheaper, no animals died for it, and I can take extra pride in that I made it myself!

So, I'm basically here to read and ask about making the wookiee suits!

Hello my name is Mansoor. I am new to this forum I have known of this forum prior to joining and I'm hoping by joining this form unable to engage the community. Since I couldn't find much luck outside of this community I'm hoping by joining maybe some of you guys might have some answers to my questions.

Am working on a pedagogical project and I have four months to produce the project. I would need an amazing Spiderman one suit print so that I can assemble it myself as well as advice on how to add the texture with the puff paint. I wanted to know if anyone on here would be able to help me in obtaining a suit print, face shell, and lenses for the amazing Spiderman costume? Ideally I would like to make this the most movie accurate as possible. Please let me know if anyone can help me I really would appreciate it as the quicker I can get the materials the quicker I can get started on it. Additionally the project as for my final year in my university sculpture class where individuals would have to feel the mask and the textures and identify what they're feeling and whether they're felt that before without seeing what they're feeling. It's pretty interesting please let me know if anyone can assist me any help would be greatly appreciated thank you and I look forward to your response.

Hi everyone,

I finally got around to joining up here. I have found this place to be a great resource over the past few years.
I'm no prop expert by any means, but love DIY'ing stuff, and am finally starting to tinker a bit more seriously
(mostly Indy stuff, but the kids are always asking for help with wild halloween ideas...)

I look forward to digging in a bit deeper!

Hello everyone I am a first time rpfer and I am very excited to be here.

Hey! I was looking for help creating a Rey costume & that lead me here. I'm new to costuming, so I'm looking forward to diving in & seeing what I can do.

Whew... lets see. Hey guys!

My name is Tim and I'm an aspiring cosplay and prop maker from Arkansas! My venture is know as Cleaved Creations and I've already completed a project. MTT EX complete with a WWE style belt. I'd would like to do this full time but I also know that that can be a major challenge. The best I can do is start small. I'm working on Malachite Genji from Overwatch but I'm working on it one step at time.

my instagram is https://www.instagram.com/cleaved_creations/

my facebook is https://www.facebook.com/cleavedcreations/

I have a patreon but not sure what to do with it: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=73973

and the same goes with my youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXDJqaYmhkML_BKjEnFR4fg

Thanks guys. I'm inspired by guys like Adam Savage, Bill Doran and others! I just want keep making one step at time!

Hello!

I've been seeing pictures of all of the creative people here. All of the costumes that are made look amazing. I want to make an Iron Man Mark 42 costume. Does anyone have the like to the paper files on pdf? I have only been finding the helmet and I only need the body.

Ahoy, TheRPF!

I'm Terrance from Boston, MA. By day, I'm a high school art teacher. By night, I'm mostly lazy, but I do partake of the scale modeling when I can. On the weekends, I'm a metalsmith, welder, and casting technician working with resins, rubbers, and metals. I'm not a propmaker per se but I have a lot of the knowledge and tools; I know a lot of propmakers and I've even taught a few of them. I'm probably best defined as a Maker if you want to use simple one-word terms.

Hoping to learn a lot, get my feet even more wet, and share my cool stuff.

Hai, I am fritz From Jakarta, Indonesia. Nice to meet you guys. I am a 3D modeler and cosplayer. I am currently making a winston (overwatch costume) :)

Hi there from Italia !

I found your forum searching for infos about the new Black Series Stormtrooper helmet that will be out on sept 30, and I very happy to have subscribed to your site. I love the SW world, I've got a Stormtrooper armor many many many years ago, but never used in cosplay events, so this year I decided to ask for the help of a 501 expert to trim the armor for my body, and to transform it in a Sandtrooper as well. We're just working on it, (he is actually....), and at the same time I'm working on the building of an E-11 blaster prop I got, printed in 3D and sold by Raymond Heber on Ebay. I hope to post some pics of the suit soon, meanwhile I'll take a look at all the interesting posts on this nice forum !

Ciao a tutti

Fabry

Greetings! I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I make stuff for hobby and have worked on a couple of independent films and TV series doing odd prop jobs here and there.
I am a huge fan of Fallout and plan to make a bunch of stuff from that series and others.
Looking forward to seeing what you all get up to and sharing my projects when I can!
:)

Hi all, long time lurker signing up from Queensland Australia!

I'm a 501st member, long time cosplayer, 3d modeller and recently got into 3d Printing. I also worked for a large pop culture convention for about 5 years.
Glad to finally have joined up at this awesome place!

Greetings! I'm a complete noob when it comes to cosplay but I am a 20-year diehard Star Wars fan and looking to start building costumes and props, as my budget and schedule allow me. I live on the East Coast of the US and run sound and play guitar for my church when I'm not playing Mr. Mom for my newborn daughter, whose middle name may or may not be Rey :lol

Hi all, I've lurked on the forum for years, constantly in awe of the amazing builds. I made my first foray into cosplay work at DragonCon this year where I dressed my kids up as Sheriff Woody, the Joker, and Sour Sweet from My Little Pony. I'm the art director at a T-shirt company and a part-time blacksmith.

Hey I have been following some threads on here and thought it was about time to join.

I don't know where my interest for this kind of stuff came from but I really like to scout out antique stores. After looking at the original Lightsaber builds I became really interested in getting some of those original parts like the camera flashes, military parts and even vintage faucet knobs.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to sharing and learning.

Hi! I heard about the RPF from Tested- the Weebo build.

I love movie props -thought I'd snoop around and see what the RPF was about.

I don't build too much but I'd like to start! I normally make small things (like orig batgirl costume) for my kids.

See you around the forums!
