Hola a todos. Soy español, de las Islas Canarias. Me gusta hacer un disfraz nuevo cada año para el Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, que es la fiesta más grande en Tenerife, siendo el Carnaval de las Islas Canarias de los tres mejores Carnavales del Mundo, o eso dicen... jejeje He hecho algún que otro disfraz a lo largo de estos años, como el del muñeco de Saw, The Crazy hat, Iron Man,...etc. Así como otros disfraces con un carácter más artístico de los cuales subiré fotos si quieren. Llevo casi un año leyendo estos foros y ahora quiero aportar mi granito de arena para ayudar a otros a confeccionar sus propios disfraces.
Les envío un saludo a todos y espero que juntos logremos nuestros objetivos. Mi próxima meta: hacer el disfraz de Tortugas Ninjas (TNMT) de los 90.

Hello everyone! I thought I'd introduce myself here so a warm friendly hello from Alberta, Canada. I've more or less just been lurking around and figured I'd might as well sign up. I have so much in plan but finding the time to do it is the most challenging.
Just some dream projects at the moment I want to do is the classic ODST but recently I've been addicted to Titanfall and I really want to make a Militia Pilot especially for next year's Calgary Comic Expo. At the moment I'm scrambling to put together an M392 DMR from HALO for the upcoming Edmonton Expo so hopefully I can set some time aside for a solid build.
So much great information in this forum and hope to learn and share with all of you!

I make up my own armor either that combine them into one category. Like Lord of the rings armor to Star Wars sith warrior. I am a Youtuber for gaming and costumes. Hey everyone, so glad I found this site. Been wanting some Star Wars costumes for a very long time, especially some storm trooper armor. I have seen them on eBay and stuff but I don't want to pay that much for one. The ability to make my own really interest me but I really have no idea how to go about doing it. Not even sure if there are any shops that sell the items I need to start. Any info to help a total noob out is greatly appreciated.

Hi, everyone, after admiring so much of your work from afar, I've decided to attempt some builds myself. I've got a few project ideas, and I'm excited to have a forum for feedback and suggestions. I've been an illustrator and designer for a while, but I've been lacking in the hands-on aspects of creating, so I've been itching to dive in and make stuff! Thanks for all of your inspiration, and thanks in advance for any support you're able to lend as I struggle through my builds!

Hi RPF-ers!
My name is Justice Carmon - real name, actually - and I am a PT Caregiver / Writer / Artist who's finally learning what all the tools in the garage do in my middle age.
I do a lot of Budget Builds, 'cause I began making stuff 35 years ago with a budget of less than $10. Nothing makes me happier than getting an awesome-looking prop on the cheap!
I began my hidden addiction in 1977 when I got a Monster Makeup book for kids and turned myself into a Wolfman using dark foundation, an eyebrow pencil and vampire fangs worn upside down. A couple of Halloweens later I wanted to be Luke Skywalker, so I used a Karate ghi, a flashlight, a golf club tube and electrical tape to make a lightsaber.
10 years later, I was making a Michael Keaton Batman with a slight mod - I used CO2 cartridges to make a more comic-styled belt. When you are using a pipe-cutter in an Efficiency Apt to make a custom Batman utility belt, you know you are addicted!
Anyway, I am so very impressed with all the hard work and craftsmanship here, I had to join.
I hope that what I post inspires and encourages others who are struggling to make ends meet but have a taste for the fantastic.

My English may not be clear, because I'm Ukrainian and English is not my native language.
My name is Konstantine. I've started as a cosplayer three years ago, but now I'm more interested in making props - replicas from anime, manga & games. Also, I'm trying to run some original builds, based on artwork or its compilation. I was observing builds on the RPF and 405th for about a year and a half, but I found courage to register & share some of my builds just now.
I may accidentally break the rules of community, because some part of the rules was misunderstood or not clear to me. I'm terribly sorry, if this ever happens.
Looking forward for learning lots of new staff!

Hello all, my names Ryan and I'm in the planning and research stages of my first costume build. I've been a Spiderman fan since I cant remember so my first set up will be Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider and I'm very excited about it. Any advice tips and tricks are always welcome.
I want to learn more about prop building but I don't have enough money even for cheap builds, no job :/ but does any one have any suggestion for a cheap first build. I'd prefer having something to do with making Armour or clothing but I'm up for anything. and i'd also like getting into making custom clothes Armour and props. I'm not looking to turn this into a career at the moment but who knows. lol
