Howdy everyone! I have looked at stuff on RPF for years and have a number of friends who are regulars here. I have been in the 501st for 12 years and dabble in other costume & prop making. I am working on a PipBoy kit and a few other things.

I recently got into 3D printing and am looking to learn from folks here who have experience with it in prop and costume making.

Is there anyone else here from Lubbock? Anyone else doing much with 3D printing?

Hey!

I'm Matt, I've been lurking here for a while getting inspiration and finally I think its time I shared some of my own work and tried to help some other users.

I need to make things to relieve stress in my busy life and I'm a serial skill collector, these traits lend very well to prop building.

I've just graduated from University on a film degree so now I'll be trying to break into industry while building in my spare time.

Take care!

Hi guys and gals I'm new but not new to Larp and gaming . I've been a huge Warhammer fan from the 80's I'm a old boy(45) I've been , making some Larp armour leather mostly however I've had a passion to make a set of chaos space marine armour for ,,,god 20 years, if anyone can give me a push or a few links that would be most helpful. Hello everyone!! I liked so much this page a long time ago and recently I saw a very good posts here and I wanted to join because I love cosplaying and I want to learn new things here!

Hey everyone, complete newbie here. I joined because my goal is to make a Spidey costume and was inspired by the great costumes out there. I was also interested in making a MasterChief costume, but I think that is a little out of my budget right now. Anyways hoping to learn a lot from you guys because as of right now I do not know anything besides this is a place to learn and see cool creations.

hi my name is mike Bradley. I am new to the world of model making and props but after watching some videos on youtube. I thought I would like to try and build some of my own props and models

Hi everyone, I'll be straight up honest, I came here last night to start a Spider-man outfit haha. I've always been really fascinated with costume/prop making but never had the resources to do so. Huge star wars nerd, I own two high-end lightsabers and frequently cosplay as a Jedi Knight. Anywho, see you guys around.

Hi!

I'm a beginner cosplayer and i found out about this website by looking for references on The Winter Soldier costume. I've lurked around for a while and I figured it would be time to really get myself engaged and into a collaborative atmosphere to start out my second cosplay. I am very excited to extend my knowledge on various cosplay topics and I hope to learn new things during my time here. I can't wait to get started!

hello - working on a supernatural impala restore here. i'll be uploading some pics of my progress so far and i'll be asking others for their input/guidance (i'm sure!). have a great day!

Hello I am Wildcard28 I like Batman all kinds of video games and everything else that's cool.

I mostly make things out of cardboard and am an amateur builder.

Hey there. Im kikcer2 from tampa florida, Ive recently decided to go into cosplay with my girlfriend but being college students and perfectionist we decided it would be a wise idea to make our own costumes rather then commissioning them or buying them. Yes we will be the little things that are needed but rather put in the time to make them. We are currently working on a his/hers red lantern costume and i have recently decided i wanted to do a deathstoke. deathstroke came from a want to work on mask building. in the future we have talked about doing power rangers, being the helmets cost $300-$500 this is something we need to save for or start investing in helmet supplies.

Hi
Been looking here for info for a long time, finnally registered. I tend to not the most web-chatty person, but always been interested in props and cosplay.
Mostly I go for star wars, star trek, babylon 5 and other kinds of sci-fi stuff. I diversify with Lego and some d'n'd and Skyrim sometimes. Lately I've been looking at some Dredd stuff, also while slowly getting back into games workshop stuff warhammer and 40k.

Proffesionally I work at a tv-station doing post production (3d modelling, graphics and color grading) while at the same time trying to run my tiny little company doing comercials, games and very slowly preparing a movie.

Take care. Now I will attempt to read every post and thread on the rpf!! :)

Hello,

Just getting started over here. I'm a medical student (almost done) planning on going into Neurology. I've been interested in prop building for a while, and have nearly completed an R2D2. I decided to branch out with some other props and, though I've been lurking here a while, decided to go ahead and say hello!

Cheers,
Chris

I'm really interested in games like bioshock and portal, And would love to make props from various games and movies.

Anyways I just wanted to say hi
