My name ist Steffen, I'm 19 and TK-18793 of the 501st.
The last year I concentrated on my TK and finished it, build a helmet and at the moment I´m finishing my DLT-19.
The Trooper aiming at Boba is me:

My next goal will be an ANH Darth Vader helmet I want to add to my collection.
Not sure what maker it will be in the end.
To the RPF I was directed by some 501st mates of the sith lord detachment and wow..... what a great source of knowledge this forum is!

I'm a huge fan of Batman and I'm looking to make my own suit someday!

Right now I have a suit from mysuperhero guy and I hate it! So I'm looking to get one from Hell's Kitchen sometime this summer

Hello,

I have admittedly been a long time lurker, but some of the bickering that I had seen in some of the threads had kept me from joining.
It was the Farnsworth research thread that finally convinced me give it a go. The way that everyone worked together to gather the information really showed me what this community is about.
I am an avid movie fan, with a leaning toward science fiction, and have been a Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, anime and comic fan for as long as I can remember. My more modern TV loves are Firefly, Eureka and Warehouse 13. The rest of my world revolves around making music, Crystal Palace Football, and my family, although not necessarily in that order!
So, here's me, taking the plunge.

Hi, I think I may have made a mistake stumbling into this forum... I'm not sure I have enough time to pick up more hobbies, but this forum is awesome on so many levels. It's great to see how creative so many people are, and the way everyone really sets the bar on projects, it blows away most items I've seen on the net.

Hi, I have only just discovered this forum. I love supernatural, and doctor who. I am currently trying to put together my own version of the winchester journal. I also have another prodject of putting River Songs diary together.

I am a mother of 2, I live in Australia. I have only just finished my Bachelor of Science(Nursing) and am currently looking for employment. I like playing WOW and other strategy and multiplayer online games.

Hello, all! I've been familiar with this site, but have only just registered.

A little background:

I'm a member of the Milwaukee Makerspace and I don't have nearly enough time on my hands to make everything I'd like.

I don't typically make replica props; I much prefer to make my own creations. That being said, I've only recently been tasked with creating a replica of The Key to Time.

I don't have a lot of experience casting and such, so I'm hoping the members here will be able to provide some insight and perhaps answer a few noob questions along the way.

I'm happy to share my experiences as I stumble along, so stay tuned....

Greetings! I'm here to assemble a prop collection for an art exhibit in Philadelphia at Vox Populi Gallery. Through researching many fandom venues I have found members of this community display highly crafted prop replicas with the mentality that their practice is foremost about creative culture rather than consumer. The particular fandom I am looking to connect with is Supernatural. Please contact me with pictures of your prop replica if you are interested in displaying your work in a gallery setting. If you make work related to the Supernatural fandom I may be in touch with you first.

***My own prop for the exhibit will be a 3D hologram, flaming circle of holy oil - - angel trap***

The exhibit will be in the spring 2014 and I will post pics.

Herro, I've been on Whitearmor.net, TheDentedHelmet.com, and now I'm here. Just admiring all the awesome movie props people create and hopefully I can buy some more things to add to my collection!! I currently have an AP TK suit that I made and am trying to get to the 501st, but my wife and I just had our first kid so it's on the back burner right now. I'm also making a ESB Boba Fett outfit, hopefully that's more comfortable to wear this Halloween! I'd like to buy some more Star Wars stuff, Iron Man armor, and maybe a Spiderman suit.. who knows!

Hello All.ive been mostly a lurker.I was introduced to this forum by a friend, "PlanoJedi".He and I have 'built' Tombstone outfits..a while back...Wyatt Earp & Doc Holiday He's posted our pics on His postings.
I like anything Cowboy,SciFi,Pirate,or Superhero,but not limited to.lol
Looking forward to making more costumes,time allowing & meeting folks on here .lol
