My name is Tate I've been costuming about as long as I've been reading comics in one form or another since the age of 9 or 10 I started doing serious costuming about 1998 at my local Ren Faire.
I love the work that's done here and I'm looking to expand my Costume collection.

Just found this site and looking forward to being a contributing member. Currently looking for a Tyler Durden ensemble just love those 70s shirts and red jacket) and a Wolverine X-1 jacket.

About me: mid 30s, living in England, love films. Used to be told I looked like Val Kilmer in the mid 90s - always nice to be told you're blonde and hot - but not so much since I started losing my hair, lol!

Hi guys,

I've been lurking for a couple of days; I joined this site to find out all I could about making an Iron Man costume. Since I know next to nothing about all this (I'm only 16), I'd appreciate any links to a Pepakura tutorial, as well as one about using resin with Pepakura, and links to any pep files for the Mk. VII or Mk. XLVII (Mk. VIII) would also be nice.

Hello. Im new today to the site and as a member. I am trying to put together a Warehouse agent costume. I am having a tough time finding "artifacts", The costume part that is the most challenging. I have my clothes now i need artifacts to help me "sell" my character. Anyway.

I've been lurking since January. I've been trying to figure what I would do first as a venture into costume making. For the longest time I was thinking Tron Suit, but now I'm all but settled on making a Dread Trooper costume from Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Doing the research on exactly how to now.

Skillwise I am a total newbie. I only found out this place exists earlier this year and that sparked my initial interest. At the moment I am mostly hoping just not to screw up.

Ahoy hoy, long time lurker (4 years?!) first time poster -
I like long walks on the beach and pina coladas... oh wait wrong site!

Star Wars and giant battling Robots is what floats my boats.
First started building swords growing up as a young kid, and now that I'm an old kid I'm currently working out layered templates for a scratch built Gallant H90 from the Sentinels era Robotech series, and have been collecting items for scratch built E-11 and DH-17 blasters.
Got back into this hobby that has quickly consumed my time (and monies!) in 2010 using big yellow box static light saber tuts, and moving onto TCSS and now I'm here.

Hello everyone. Just signed up a few days ago. I just recently decided to make an Ironman costume for myself an hope to pass it on to my son when gets big enough to fit him. I am really impressed with a lot of people's willingness to share their knowledge and hard work. I'm looking forward to starting my build. By reading through a lot of treads, I figured I need to gather all my supplies first before beginning. That way I don't need to compromise on the build due to lack of a supply or tool.
Once again, thanks to all that have done the trial by error , that way us newbies won't have to go insanez

Hi all.. I've been lurking for a while but finally signed up!

Been looking around for ideas of what do dress up as for Halloween so I'll start a WIP thread soon..

I love making costumes for fancy dress partys and Halloween as i really hate shop bought stuff.. its usually pretty naff and someone will have the same outfit as you!
