I've always been a big fan of halo, sci fi, steampunk, and Star Wars costuming and prop building. I stumbled upon this site searching fo armor making tips, because i am currently making ODST armor. I fiddled around with the site for a while and i really do like it. It is a big commuity of people doing what i love to do. I plan to stay!

I've been here for a while and I don't know if I've done this yet. I'm in San Diego. I'm a costumer and prop builder. I'm in the 501st. I have a Sand Person costume, TK And I'm working on Cad Bane Bossk, and Dengar. I have been working on a Tau Firewarrior team for about 6 years and I hope to have that done soon. My big plan is to build a mold to vacu-form a life sized Han Solo in Carbonite.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tara and I just happened upon this forum while researching wookie costumes. I've always been the artsy type and love costumes, especially fantasy or historical. Several years ago I began making more and more involved costumes for my kids as they grew older and became more involved in movies and characters. I'd still describe myself as a novice but my sewing gets better with every costume and I really just like the whole research part of it. Some of my favourite works are: jawa costume, Alice Kinglseigh costume, white queen costume as well as various medieval costumes (I love anything medieval!)

I've just begun work on my Halloween costume this year: the white witch's battle garb from Narnia. I haven't found much in the way of information on the subject (aside from Narnia Costumes) but I'm going to start searching here. Hopefully I can post some of my own research findings and help someone else along the way.

There's a lot of brilliant artists here. Glad to be among you all.

Not much to tell, I'm a huge Buffy fan. If I had the money when they Ebay the Buffy prop Scythe I would've bought it but I think it went for over $10000 or something ridiculous.

Other than that I guess I'd like to hang out here and see what's in store!

Huge sci-fi fan been collecting props and replicas for years. Love Aliens, Predator, Sar rek Sar Wars well you get the idea.

I am excited to be a new member here. Many of the members from other forums are on here as well, and have found pretty nice props. I have been in the lightsaber making hobby for the last 4 years or so, but making all kinds of props helps to keep me entertained. I hope that I will enjoy my stay here and find some nice things to build!

Hello everyone,
I have always been interested by 3D work and some of the astounding costumes/props many people can make out of anything. I intially thought that building similiar stuff was out of my league, as I wouldnt be able to afford all the bits and pieces needed to build such intricate and complex pieces.
Thankfully I recently found out about pepakura (I know its been out a while, but I honestly didn't understand how it worked until about 2 weeks ago), which hopefully won't cost too much no matter how many mistakes I'll make (which I know will be alot).

Anyway, thanks for letting me join and see all the replicas and props you lot have, I can already see how beneficial this wealth of experience and knowledge will be!
