re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Howdy!
My name is Jonathan, a life-long geek and frequent Dragon*Con attendee. My costumes have included the Dread Pirate Roberts, Casey Jones and Jayne Cobb. Don't really have anything new in the works for Con '11 due to budget constraints (aka being broke).
Really excited to be apart of the boards and learning from the vast knowledge shared here.

Hello all! My name is Pat and I live in Northern Viriginia. I'm primarily interested in sci-fi and action shows/films. I build custom lightsabers and do conversions on MR/Hasbro versions. I also work on models and am currently putting together an ESB Stormtrooper for entrance in to the 501st. I am also a member of TCSS and Fx Sabers (but you'll find me as "IndustrialAction" there). Here are a few of the sabers that I've worked on...

Greetings.

I'm Keith, I'm a graphics designer/artist originally from England but now living in the US with my wife and kids.
I found the forums whilst doing research for a replica of River Song's journal and decided to stick around.

Have yet to build anything big, I tend to work on smaller simple items (mainly due to the fact that I don't have the space to build bigger things).

Hello all, my name is Manuel. I am from NYC and a faithful Daredevil fan since 2001 and have been collecting everything Daredevil as frequently as I can. I happened across your site while hunting for a Daredevil replica costume. You have so much information on costumes and related items. I am glad to be here.

Hi all!

My name's Ryan, and I've actually just started getting into prop collecting. My focus right now is Jurassic Park, as it's the film that got me into the arts and showcased my childhood love of dinosaurs like I'd never seen before.

I only have a few props right now, but my first higher end prop purchased was the cryo-can. It has the wrong color O-Ring, but I still love it.

Hey TheEvileJawa here. Been in film an props making for quite a few years but haven't been pro at it ti'll I met the 501st Legion. That led me to make my Jawa costume that I run around in at trooping events and local comicons. I have now decided to check out the RPF for a well known prop seller Skruffy. My journey has now led me into the world of fallout which I can show pics of some of the props I have done. Anyways I only hope to be up here a short time so that I don't get cluttered with every website I have to keep updated on. So my mission is simple. Get in and get out.

Hi everyone, I am Nick. Used to be a teacher of art and design and been model making for about 30 years. Now semi retired and looking forward to getting back into serious modeling instead of trying to squeeze it into the spare minutes around work. Like many kids, started out modeling planes, got heavily into sci-fi modeling after seeing Kubricks 2001. Now mostly building one to one props and next project is likely to be a pulse rifle. (Being based in England getting parts through customs can be a problem so will probably go to Spat.) In complete awe of the talents of many of you guys.

Long time stalker to the forum, new poster. I was introduced to this site by another member when I was researching halloween costumes. I have no props or costumes, but I really appreciate the workmanship that goes into these projects!

Hi - Jeanette here. I live in Washington State with hubby and a few lovely Ragdoll cats. I was searching for Warehouse 13 screen shots of the Tesla and Farnsworth online, to assist me in a build for myself for fun- and happily found this very awesome community! I am amazed at the great posts, tons of information, guidance and creativity of the members in their prop creations, photos and resourcefulness! WOW! I haven't been able to tear myself away from many of the Warehouse 13 threads- great reads and now I'm addicted! In just in two days, this forum has me even more enthused to begin my first 1:1 build in (quite a few) years. I already have some of my parts and hope to assemble my own Farnsworth's Farnsworth prop soon! A challenge after many years away from props: I used to create lots of metal and plastics props for friends convention costumes in the 1980's. (Oh, giving away my age?) Mostly British sci-fi like Blake's 7, Dr. Who. The great fellas at the local TAP plastics store knew me by name as I often requested the strangest specs and cuts. :) I have been doing mostly 1:12 and 1:35/48 scale for many years, anxious to again do some cool 1:1 props! I plan to do a 1:12 scale Farnsworth and a Teslas for fun. Looking forward to meeting many of the fine prop artists here online. Thanks for letting me in as a newbie and I hope to have something decent to post photos of, from my workbench in a few months!

Hello,
I found this site searching for ways to build the Back to the Future hoverboard. This place is amazing. I've built some replicas before but they all pail in comparison to what I am finding on here. So far I've only built a very inaccurate Plasma Rifle from Fallout 3 and a Proton Pack that was fairly accurate proportion wise but was missing the flair of what's out there. I hope this site gets me going into building my own props and expanding my collection. Thanks.

Hello,

My name is Shawn. I'm not really sure you can call me a prop collector but I love to build things. I mostly do Pepakura builds but I have made an Ultimate Thor's Hammer from random bits and what not.

I am recently enlisted and gettin ready to head off to basic training so I don't have the time to work on anything but I will once all of my training is said and done....I hope.

I look forward to gettin to know those of you I can and learning from you all as well

Hi, everybody! My friend has mentioned RPF for years. So, I finally joined. Everything I've seen here is really amazing. You see, I goto a lot of con's in costumes. And I'm hoping some of you will help me to make them as accurate as possible. Looking forward to talking with everyone. And thanks in advance for any insight you might offer.
