Hello all,
Just found this sight after a co-worker told me about the "Righteous Bison" contest. A lot of good stuff here. Been a professional artist now for close to 20 years. My specialty is prop design for 2d/3d animation. I have also been involved in toy design for the last 2 1/2 years as well. 98% of my work has been pencil to paper/computer stuff, the other 2 has been prototyping. I would like to get more hands on with building and I suspect this site will inspire me to do so.

Hello.

I stumbled across this site whilst searching for something else and it looked very much 'up my street'. Most of the props that I have made have been simple repaints and modded toys, but I'm always interested in improving what I do for a hobby.

I was forgot to introduced me. So, I'm Alexis, I'm living in France. Great fan of Logan's Run, and the Sandman Blaster. I'm the webmaster of a little french website on Logan's Run. I was buy somes weeks a functionnal Gun. I was found this forum when I made a search on the DS Flamegun for to have mores informations, and discover the very greats replicas of DS Gun on this forum ! Finally I'm become a member, and it's a very great pleasure to see yours props, and replicas of props, costumes, collections, etc.

Hello RPF-people

As the name might suggest I'm a biiiig BTTF fan with a shed-load of prop replicas but v little by way of screen used stuff.

I went and bought a Delorean as a means of indulging my ultimate prop-buying fantasy but I've not bothered with all the BTTF kit on it apart from the Flux Capacitor (which was an manufacturer's option , as you know).

Glad to see so much BTTF stuff on here.

Greetings RPF! Big Trek fan, here, but also interested in general movie props, scale models, etc. Basically all that RPF has to offer.

Used to spend a lot more time at Dewback's A Site About Props but this forum seems a bit more lively. About to start on a project and hoping to share my progress and hopefully get some help from the experts.

Aloha! I'm Charlie. I've been lurking around for a while. My brother-in-law finally convinced me to sign up. I've been costuming/prop building for about 4 years now. I've been part of the 501st, Mando Mercs, etc. I don't costume so much anymore, but I still love building props. Currently, I'm obessesed with Fallout, but I've done canon and custom Star Wars, Alien/Aliens, Resident Evil, and a few other movies. Here's a few samples:

Hi all I've been browsing and even posted a few times in other threads around the forum and thought I should introduce myself any way I'm just starting out in replica props but have some experience in just plain propmaking I don't have a very large collection or access to any pictures but here's what I be done so far

Costumes

Full wookiee costume I stand about 7'4" with the homemade stilts

I like to tinker and build stuff and tend to enjoy building obscure references to different movies, tv shows, and anime. It's more for the fun of it and sometimes for cosplay.
It may take me a while to get member status, as I tend to lurk and use the search function to find things out, rather than jump out there and post "How do I...?" threads.
Someday, I'll post some stuff (pix) of projects I've done. So far, my favorite prop to build has been the collar from the film "Fido".
I'm looking forward to learning and building much.

hello everyone i don't know

i found this awesome forum through looking for fallout costumes. i have never made a prop in my life but i have wanted to for a long time . i am making a small film in the future and there is gonna be a lot of props in it so its good to find forum like this for ideas on how to build stuff. i am very intersted in:

sci fi
fantasy

some props that i have collected are none I'm hoping that i can say i have collected in the future

Anyways, I have a sweet Superhero bar in my house, (I'll get some pics up ASAP) and I make pretty much all of my own costumes. My collection includes: Spider-Man (spidey4fun suit not made by me), Black Costume Spidey, Wolverine (Street Clothes and X-Men Movies Battle Suit w/ real metal claws), Silver Surfer, Deadpool, and Batman!

Well I plan on searching around this awesome site, and chattin it up with you all. Have fun
