Hello people of the replica pro forums!!! I'm Brandon, known here as the Persuazn! I've been lurking here in the shadows not posting for two years. Gaining information on making an Iron-Man costume from pepakura, fiberglass, and resin. The outcome didn't turn out as I had hoped but was good for a beginner. I cosplayed various anime characters since 2004, now I am currently cosplaying as The Good Ole' DOCTOR!! Film/communication Tech student over here in the Dallas/Ft.worth area!! Nice to meet all of ya!!

hello people. i've been having a lurk for a while on here as i mainly camp out on the AL site mainly for Aliens Costuming as im in the process of building mine and when today took interest in pepakura and thought i'd use this site more for looking into that and maybe other projects.

Hi happy to be a part of an amazing site. I am currently attempting my first pepakura build of the Iron Man Mark VI suit. Helmet is about 1/3 of the way done I joined over a week ago and have been reading some really good advice on builds and seeing some amazing builds on here. Thanks for letting me join and i gotta give it up to Robo for his amazing files that he has made available thats where my mark vi is coming from. Thanks again

Hello, RPF. My friends call me Tendo. I had a buddy turn me onto this site and figured I would join. I've always wanted to get into prop making, but have never done so. The only thing I have ever built that would be close to being considered a movie prop was a MAME arcade cabinet (So, yeah... no exp.). Well, I am reading into this fine craft through your awesome community and i'm taking notes!

Hello, my name is Robert, some ppl call me Bob, or Harry, I'm from Alabama(don't judge). I've lurked here for quite some time and done a lot of reading and learning, finally decided it was time to start posting. I've done props, costumes and/or set pieces for stage, individuals, and amateur filmmakers. Its my dream to build props professionally, and I'll soon be moving to Berkeley, CA with the intent to follow that dream (so if anyone knows any places there let me know ). I look forward to finally participating in one of my favorite places on the net.

I an a mechanical engineer, and do costumes, props, and swords as a hobby/small business. Looking forward to browsing all the good works here and meeting some more talented folks. ... there's way too many forums to keep track out out there.. lol

Hello! I am an apprentice Maker in the San Diego steampunk community and I do props and occasionally set dressing for local community theatre. But also I just love to notice and enjoy props. I have been looking for a way to find the props department for Fringe to write them a fan letter - I may have gotten a little closer today. OH MY GOD that show has the most amazing stuff on TV. Thanks for existing and maybe see some of you at San Diego Comic-Con?

Been a long time lurker here, this site is amazing. I've no experience in prop making (hopefully that'll change now I'm here) People here appear to be SO much more helpful than other sites I've been on. Massive respect to everyone's work, it is ALL insprational to us noobs, cheers people

Found my way here via the Weta ray gun comp. Bit of a Weta nut having worked for similar model/prop/making outfits in the UK. Most of my work has been for the likes of Corgi, Matchbox, Brooklin (masters and pre-production) and figure outfits such as Games Workshop but I'm now into my own projects too and am always on the lookout for inspiration...this could be just the place
