Hey everyone, I've been a frequent visitor to this site for years, but i figured its time to actually join.

First off, i'm a professional character artisit in video games. You can see my webpage here: Ghoul

Secondly, I love creating things with my hands, and now that I have more freetime in my life, i want to start creating more costumes and props in my sparetime. I've already created a foam Iron Man costume for Halloween last year, but I dont have any good pics of it to show. Now I plan to try doing a Spiderman costume.

Anyway, Thanks for listening.

Hello Guys,

My name is Charles, aka ShellumusPrime. I am very new to Costuming, very very new. I have always been into art and making things and exploring my talents and boldly going....well, you know. LOL.

I went to a comic-con with a friend and he made a suit for me, and it wasn't very good so I figured instead of complaining, and being a jerk, to attempt to make something for myself. I am interested in comic/anime, and gain my creativity from that. I haven't completed anything as of yet, as I am busy with work, travel, and my girlfriend but I am getting more things done since I don't have roommates any longer and live alone. (more space to work and destroy)

I was working on a Blue Beetle suit from new 52, but adding my spin on it. I have completed the mask sculpt and will try to be brave and post the pic and the molding/casting process.

Future projects:

Ronin Warrior
Cyborg

I want to say thank you for such a site and thank you to all of those who have shared their art, love, passion and talent with others. We are all in this together I think, despite if you do it for fun or for profit.

Thanks

Hi all! I've been a lurker for a while, and have loved seeing all your great work! I've not really been much into making my own stuff, but I've recently had a go at making my own Indy grail. I'll not embarrass myself by showing pics, but let's just say that the second attempt is coming on better!

Hello,

I am Reverie, or Reia, and am a noob to the cosplaying world. I have loved the Japanese side of comics for awhile now, but have recently developed an interest in other comics. If anyone wants to message me and make suggestions for good series to start I would be eternally grateful.

That being said, I am very interested in cosplay. I want to start a project for the summer and attempt to have it completed by Otakon. Sadly, both ideas involve armor, which I heard can be tricky. None the less, I want to try!

I am interested in more serious-toned anime at the moment, but do have tendencies to read or watch comedies. I'll try anything once. As for props that I would enjoy looking into, body modifications, armor, dresses, and weapons are major interests of mine.

Thanks for listening. Hope to hear from people with potential suggestions, if possible. Haha.

Hello Everyone,

I'm Mason from Louisiana. I've been a Spider-Man fan from since I can remember. I've never really cosplayed before but I've been wanting to have my own suit for some time now. Just looking to make a few suits and meet some new people!! :)

Hi i'm Jim from central Georgia
I'm retired Air Force and electrician/computer tech and general jack of all trades
My son got me hooked on building props for his lifelong love of ghostbusters last year, and since then we have built a proton pack, wand, trap gizmo
I'm most proud of the scratch built GB1 style ghost trap with operational doors and actually smokes and the gizmo with real lit nixie tubes
and I even bought a lab coat for myself and made some of the "Venkman" props. We're both on gbfans me "jimfin" and Charles "sephiroth"
I've followed a few builds on this site and like the extra variety of props

Hey,

Hi everyone,

I'm a long-time lurker mostly interested in working on and experimenting with different techniques on Spider-man replica costumes. I've already learned a lot and I hope I can be able to contribute to the community to help others as much as I've been helped!

Hello, all.
My name is Matt Charles. I'm a set builder in Dallas, TX. Just starting to get into the prop end of production.
I like most anything sci-fi. Star Wars, Star Trek, Fallout. I just like good design.

Hey Guys!!1 And Gals :D I'm Gino, also known as itsybitsy spidey on account of being short... :( oh well. AANNNNNYWAAAAYYYS A friend of mine pointed me in this direction in hopes of aiding me in my quest to complete my Spider-Man suit for my debut this winter at my baby brothers career day.(my father can't make it being out of state) I could go dressed in my normal work attire but that is sooo baoring and my little bro thinks I'm his superhero anyways... well enough with the pointless mushy junk. If anyone could point me in a good direction that'd be great!!

Hey everyone.
My name's Craig and I'm a huge Spider-Man fan ever sense I could walk. I also love most other super hero and sifi things. I am mainly looking at getting and making Spiderman outfits!

Hi!
My name is NerdzRage and I am new to the world of cosplaying but a LOOOONNNG time admirer until recently I haven't had any conventions I could go to which made me so sad but now that I do (Tsubasacon) I am sooo excited to get into cosplay. So far I am just doing my favorite characters that are a little more simple to do for a beginner, and I only have 3 planned but have about 100 cosplays I would love to do even though I realize realistically that might not happen lol. So far I want to do a female version of Gambit because he has always been my favorite since I was little and I wish he got more recognition for his awesomeness... 2nd Jinx from league of legends because she is HANDS DOWN my favorite champion and when she released she became my main and has been since. Lastly I am thinking I will join my friends as sailor neptune but if they cannot make it I'll end up doing Shina from angel beats. I guess I am here to learn from people who have more expirence than me as a noob coming into this prop making is probably one of the most intmidating parts and I think by learning from others I can really grow as a cosplayer and maybe help others someday because to me that's part of being a cosplayer is helping others having fun, and looking cool.

Hope that is a good introduction.

oh.. there already is an introduce yourself thread...

hey.
thought I would join since I decided to copy some of Sappers nx build..
nice work Sapper! excellent detail on the interiors, did you draw those decals yourself?
(know how to draw a squirrel?)

Hi all.

Thought I would introduce myself here in this forum. Long time reader first time poster. Just decided to take my love and hobby of Star Wars that 1 step further into doing a Cosplay. Australia, Brisbane based. So I've decided to build a Sith acolyte armor for the up coming events. If anyone has any personal advice they would wish to offer. I am more then happy to listen :)
