Hello everyone,

Finally all joined up. I've been lurking this forum for about a year now, I guess.

I'm on a couple of other forums that I heard of this place through. I'm into building replica lightsabers, when money and time allow. I'm here to learn about prop making from all the unbelievable talent that I've seen here. I'm simply amazed. I'm honored to be part of this. Thanks for letting me in. :cheers

hey all, this is Michael from Arizona, I have been waiting sometime to be a member. I am very excited to be a member of the RPF. I am a fellow prop collector and I have numerous props that are all Sci Fi related. I even had a 1:1 Life-Size Speeder Bike from Star Wars built for me and is sitting in my collection. Thank you guys for finally opening up the registration on the RPF.

Hi, my name is Kenith. I only found this forum about a week before the open enrollment started, so I have not had the long wait that some of you have. I hope to learn from all of the wonderful talent here and start making my own props soon. I plan on doing a Green Lantern ring and power battery and a few other comic related props eventually.

I've finally manged to catch the registration and now I'm here...Currently a member of the UK Garrison 501st and have been costuming for about 10 years or so now....

I've always looked in here from the outside so is very nice to be in the 'inner sanctum' as it were !

Hello! My name is Charles and I am a Propoholic!!! And yes from my Posts I am late to this meeting!

RPFers in unison, "Hi Charles!"

Star Wars, Pirates, Star Trek, Indy, and many others since I was about 9 years old and first started subscribing to Starlog mag!!!! Those were the days!

Now I am just a 45 year old man who's wife just doesn't understand him and his hobbies! Although my 3 1/2 year old loves it all!

More costuming now because prop building is expensive unless you can make more than one to sell to Prop Brethren!

Hello All

My Name is Shawn and I live in Stockton Ca

Ive been a builder of unique stuff for as long as I can remember. I am currently looking into purchasing a Epilog Laser and building a 3D Printer in the next year to help fabricate some of the neat stuff I want too make. I am a student at Delta College in the Machine Shop Program and am learning AutoCAD and MasterCAM. As well as Graphic Arts Classes.

I am glad to finally be on this to see what i can make and stuff

Hi everyone. My name is Steve, I'm from Boston, Ma. I collect Props from back to the future- not screen used ones.. too expensive. I'm just getting into dabbling with casting. I was just checking this forum out for tips on how to replicate stuff. Some of the stuff I want to work on, has obsolete parts, so building from scratch might be the only option.

Meta here, I am so happy to have caught a registration period. I have been wanting on here for some time. I am a newby to the prop making field but have made many things that pertain to movies and thier props. But i would love to start learning the molding and resin prop making process.

I am a Firefighter/Graphic Designer and in my time I have reproduced alot of Back to the future graphics that I would love to share.

I`m Anthony,and I found this site while reading a thread on the Club House forum.I`m a member there and on The Hive forum.Tons of great talents on both.I collect mostly model kits and statues,but have some props as well.
Favorite subjects are Alien,Predator,Fewture,modern monsters,and originals.I`ll check out the threads here soon.Only scanned them over briefly,and so far,so good.:cool

I have some original props on the drawing board, too. Most of them are based on weapons I thought up for tabletop characters. Would we just post pictures of those in the general prop forum once we're done with them, or is there a specific thread?
