Hey everyone, my name's Joel. I'm 14 and I'm trying to get into costuming. I've always had a love of creating my own halloween costumes, but never out much effort. But last halloween i made my epic costume debut, Hellboy. It wasn't movie accurate or anything, but it was a really big step for me. Now I'm wanting to do an iron man helmet, and maybe a costume. I've made a MkI mask from a welding mask, but thats it.

Thanks so much blownhemi, I don't know what I did wrong. I clicked the little mountain icon and inserted my link but it didn't work. Maybe next time i'll upload it as a file. And thanks Mycroft! My stuff can be found on instructables, just search iwillspy13. I was also thinking about doing another version of my bottle bottom arc reactor, this time with 10 separations, but idk.

Hey Guys! Glad to finally be able to be a part of this forum.

I'm mostly known as Volpin. I'm a 26 year old Graphic Designer in Atlanta, and probably only really known props-wise for this:

I've always been interested in making replicas and have generally been tinkering with building things my whole life. Although I'm most interested in video game replicas, currently I'm in the middle of a Daft Punk replica helmet mold, as well as several other larger projects.

Hopefully I can learn a lot here, as I am still pretty new to the world of making replicas. Glad to finally get in with this crowd!

Hey all, my name is Josh, and I am currently a theatre major specializing in tech and puppetry. One goal is to make props for stage or screen in the future. at the moment my focus has been heaviest on Firefly. I also do costuming, trying to make a point to make at least one accurate costume a year just to keep things new. Another random bit of information is that I am a proffessional haunter and work Sep-Oct for Cedar Point in Ohio scaring, and making haunt props etc. I'll try to gather some pictures of the things I've done in the near future.

Hey everyone, I'm Jimmy, I joined earlyer this year but due to studies I havent really been on here much, but now I am!

If your on gbfans.com you might know me as Kaneda from the GB:UK elite.
So i'm a buster at heart but being a UK lad of 22 i started making things from the brit series Doctor Who, the classic stuff first in the 90's then mored on to create more props and costumes from other things finaly resulting in my Ghostbusters stuff and the various other things I've made.

So yeah, currently freelance in Film Photography and Design after Uni finished and now i'm hoping to get full time work as i'm bored of being at home haha.
Although I do get to work on my Comedien costumes!!

My name's Travis, more of a collector & costumer than builder, really. I'm into Halo, Warhammer 40k, and comic book/movie props, with my latest craze being Watchmen (almost got that Rorschach costume done ).

Hi, my name is Peter amd i live in Austria...
Its great to be here!
I´m a special effects make-up artist, and own a company for
palaeontological reproduction and reconstruction; that means im building
that funny dinosaur stuff for several museums round the globe (in lifesize..)
Sculpting, moldmaking and casting is my profession for about 25 years.

Hello,

My name is Greg and I live in Chicago. I am a Teacher now but used to be a graphic artist and web developer. I got sick of working on a computer all day but couldn't help getting into reproducing Battlestar props. I started with the Tigh bottle and since gotten re interested in reproducing everything I've ever wanted. My recent project has been a full size Pyramid Court and doing my best to get people to play. Stay tunes for pictures of the court. If you live in Chicago I will be posting an event to come out and play.

- DS9 is Better than TNG, Kirk is better than Sisko of Picard, but Adama would beat the living hell out of all three.

I had been waiting what seems like years for membership to open. I was so psyched when I saw I was able to register.

My name's Danielle, and like others I completely fell in love with this place, but sad that I could never participate. Right now,I'm a studio arts major, but my main passion has become learning about technical theatre, prop building, and costuming.

The only props I've ever "built" so far has been a book reproduction of "The Handbook for the Recently Deceased" from beetlejuice. I plan with the help of school stretching out and really learning how to tackle more challanging projects.

I'm The Stig, most of my prop experience so far is based on the new BSG and I'm looking to branch out into other stuff, mostly Star Wars and Ghostbusters.
