New McFly jean jacket replica!

I'll have a look... but if we do it, it'll be Lauren Bacall NOT Ingrid Bergman.

I haven't put any research into the liner so I trust your judgement. And I believe if you took all my advice listed at the top of the page then the jacket will be near perfect.

I think it's pretty grey.

Were you not able to source correct denim? This is what my jacket looked like before I modded it. This jacket has a slightly different design, but the same color. I believe this is the actual color of the screen used jacket.

Also just like this jacket, the screen used one has a different type of elastic waist. Instead of the very wrinkled look it looks like this. I wish I still had mine because it had this exact type of waist. I got it from a different Guess jacket.

Finding the right denim with simple google and eBay searches proved to be worthless. Indy Magnoli, I see why it was hard the course the right one and chose a similar fabric. But Is there a way for you to custom make it?

I found some similar denim finally. It is a little bit blue. Lighting is always against prop makers. @Indy Magnoli, if I sent you this fabric would it be possible for your team to make the jacket from it?

@Indy Magnoli, I highly suggest you look at this link. Head Goonie made a pretty decent inside liner. Not completely spot on, but pretty damn close. You can also see in their pictures of the screen used jacket that the stitches from when the jacket pieces were sewn together are visible. The same stitches on the outside. Their paisley is decent too, but the green border is too thin.

This is their jacket right now.

So far, this is the best I've seen.

I agree. Honestly if Magnoli Clothiers doesn't fix their design mistakes I will go with the Head Goonie jacket. So far here is everything I see that can be fixed.
1. Correct denim fabric
2. Bigger buttons with better placement
3. More accurate paisley liner
4. Movie star liner
I'm not sure how much HG's jacket is but I think it's safe the assume it's around $500 like Indy's. HG's jacket only has one gripe from me and that is that it's too blue. Making it lighter with watered down bleach and a sponge would be a simple job. That's much less to fix compared to Indy's jacket.

Indy Magnoli, unless your development is already done and you just don't want to change anything else, let the community help you. The best Back to the Future collectors and prop makers are on this site that are more than willing to help someone make an accurate denim jacket for sale. It is the one piece most collectors are dying for a good one. You make all of your other pieces of clothing almost spot on to their movies/shows. This piece deserves no less. Any questions or advice is of no trouble.

So with head goodies jacket the jacket starts off as completely blue and they brush chemicals on the main body and arms to turn them lighter.

You jacket looks awesome Berty! What size did you go for? I went for a medium and it fits perfect.
