Indy Magnoli, have you taken any of my words into consideration? I don't mean to bombard you with my points, but these are simple things to fix. Better denim color, paisley lining, bigger buttons. Maybe for the denim you could do what HG does and use some sort of chemical on an all blue jacket to fade it to the right shade. HGs blue on the shoulder pieces is a little too dark, but yours seems to be spot on. So the make the whole jacket with the blue denim you would normally use for the shoulders then fade the main body, arms, and inside on the waist and the parts that aren't covered by the lining.

I agree about HG's grey/blue shade would look best with Magnoli's blue of #2 in his group photo.

In these photos in the link, you can see that the blue is very saturated, while the grey is less popping, yet still has a slight bluish tint. Magnoli's blue looks closest to these photos which may show the true color since the camera doesn't have filters like the cameras used for filming.

I wish its whereabouts were known so we could have modern pictures of it to tell the exact color.

Do you have a pic of you wearing it?
IMG_4217.PNG this is how it looks with what i have for the moment ahah, i need the right shirt and a good down vest now!

I'm surprised Guess didn't come out with this jacket for the 30th anniversary. I know the movie jacket was made by frankensteining existing jackets, but it's still their work more or less.

A lot of talk about the fading of the blue denim for the lighter fabric. My assumption was that it was always grey in the first place.

It was said that the grey was originally black that was faded to grey. Maybe they washed it to give it more fade and the blue bled into the faded grey?
