Limited Run New Korbanth saber runs - LS6 reveal Gullwing and Crossguard 2.0 details inside

These sabers are still up for preorder - www.korbanth.com/2017 -

only 20 left of the free SID 2.0 saber (which you get for purchasing any combination of the 2 sabers, Crossguard 2.0 and LS6-REVEAL-GULLWING sabers)

email me if you have any questions on this - korbanth47@gmail.com

What's the deal with shipping? Your site says $0 for pre-orders but that you will charge something later... I bought something from your site before and was charged a flat $20 despite there being a shipping estimater by location on your site, and the shipping label showed the shipping cost was under $7. I haven't pre-ordered because I don't like having an unknown cost to be charged later, especially when the last time it was so inflated.

I am not collecting postage for preorders now. When the product arrives, each person will be contacted to arrange for the postage to be paid then.

Product that is in stock, will be charged postage as it can send right away... Part of postage is the actual postage fees, and part are other fees incorporated into what it takes to bring product in and the ability to send out. Postage prices have risen, its around $14.00 now to send priority, and the rest goes to other costs. if you want details on those other costs, I'd be happy to share them with you.

That doesn't address the fact that you just charge a flat fee no matter where it's going, or that the shipping was less than half of the $14 you are citing now. As for other costs, why not just build them into the price instead of hiding them in the shipping fee?

I've worked for several businesses where the actual price for postage doesn't equal what is charged for shipping. Other overhead is factored into what people charge for shipping ie boxes, tape, packing materials. All of that factors into the "handling" part of shipping and handling. It's definitely easier to devise a flat rate to charge people when doing runs like this as opposed to calculating to the penny the exact cost of everything. Just my 0.02

OK, but my point is that the flat fee is nowhere near the shipping cost. It's an additional $13+ dollars, which seems crazy to me. At least then I knew the price before I ordered, even if I found out later the shipping charge was almost three times the postage cost. Now he's asking people to pre-order and pay for items with shipping TBD. What if six months after taking payment he says shipping is $50? Buyers would be stuck.

If your afraid of the shipping costs then maybe your right for staying out of this one. As for me I know it must be difficult to arrange all these to be shipped by seemingly just one guy. You must factor the shipping cost, packing, and his time. The cost may not be visible on the label but I highly doubt he's in this to make money off of us on the shipping so whatever he decides for shipping I'm sure he justified... and if he decides it's $50 then i as well as many others on the run will gladly pay it and enjoy our new hilts...

Recently Added to the preorder - a third saber - the DM1 - (2017 version) that will come pre-weathered, with a vented coupler and 8 working buttons. This DM1 is a double ended saber which splits in the middle and comes with nice features.

The out of stock DM1 (2016 version) was $200 and came clean, no vented coupler, no working buttons,
The pre-order of DM1 (2017 version) is $275.00 and comes weathered, with vented KR sabers coupler, and 8 working buttons

so a very nice addition - go to www.korbanth.com to jump on the preorder and also check out the new saber stands made in metal.very nice...

Just made my preorder for the two new blades (and the bonus 3rd hopefully)

Just ordered both! Gotta feeling I missed out on the Sid?
Cant wait to see what the new surprises are though

Hey Korbanth. Do you recommend a belt clip that will fit the KR V2 ? I was thinking of getting one of Phoenix Props new ones if it will fit.
Don Mac.

Ive taken some measurements off a saber clip so its compatible with a few of the very popular belt clips out there...so heres hoping. I dont know much about Phoenix Props version, so I cant say one way or the other if the Crossguard 2.0 will work with it...

Still have close to 20-25 of both the Crossguard 2.0 and LS6-Reveal-Gullwing left for preorder -

On the July 14th newsletter there will be a big announcement of some upgraded features with photos to show...things are shaping up...

remember, go to www.korbanth.com to preorder before all slots are gone..

This update was sent out right before the new year:

Greetings, I hope your Christmas was very nice - were very close to all these sabers being ready to send-

Just a quick note that if your receiving this email, then I am asking for you to pay for your postage for your saber order now

POSTAGE payments go to my paypal of <EMAIL REMOVED>

  • Postage for USA saber buyers is - $20 for 1-3 sabers, and $40 for 4-6 sabers
  • Postage for OUTSIDE OF USA saber buyers is $40 US dollars for 1, and $10.00 for each one after, so 3 sabers = $60.00

Let me explain how sabers are being sent out.

LS6-Gullwing and Graflex 3.0 reveal are being boxed right now, and into next week, and then being mailed, so I can mail those out as soon as I get
them, and then SID 2.0 and DM1-2017 (double sided saber) will send 1-2 weeks after, and followed up last by the Crossguard 2.0 saber. if you pay the postage
amounts described above, I am trying to purchase 2 labels, so I can send in two shipments so you dont have so long to wait...

You will get a normal email in the next day or so with more photos and the above status repeated...Ive been promised all product will be mailed in next 5 weeks so
product will begin to flow into your hands...thank you for your patience and please take care of your postage so I can have your labels all made by the time these
cool items arrive.

The names listed below - I cannot find any postage paid....thanks again
