New Elstree Studio documentary with discarded Graflex.

Welp, I now have a fresh TGS bottom can, and grips/plentiful rivets/d-ring from Roy. Gonna wait awhile to see if any new evidence comes to light regarding the rivets and/or the bottom stamping orientation.

My current bottom tube is perfectly fine as an idealized piece, so the swappable, screen-accurate version can wait a bit.

Wow! Imagine how much a screen used saber would go for then. Easily over a million, probably 2 or 3. Even 10 million wouldn't shock me.

While the rivet sizes are still arguable—although I’m agreeing more and more with Roy—it looks like the bottom stamping is gonna be the final unicorn of this prop. There’s gotta be a way!

Just imagine how much the screenused hero would go for, if it ever actually turned up. And NOT one of Roger Christian’s. I’m thinking somewhere around seven figures.

Oh given this incentive, I have no doubt that someone will take a swing at trying to throw up a purported hero hilt for auction in the very near future....

I don't think it's new grip placement I think Roy is (hopefully) working on a jig that will allow screen accurate positioning of the grips.
He is working on a blueprint that matches how the grips were placed on the actual hero prop. Unlike how everyone else was doing it by spacing them equally apart.
