New BSG - Jump Key

Okay, the LED-Lenser came in, and that's it. Model LL7596, those are the exact ones they used for the real prop. The company changed the base of the plastic rod a little (added a metal screw base to it), but that would be inside the FTL Key, so you'll never know the difference...

Does this section look like a spark plug socket?

Now that you mention it, it kind of does... The prop is all custom machined aluminum though. Although someone might have glued some things together for the original 'look' when designing it.

Kind of but you forget about6 the other side that is hollowed out for the switch. If it was a socket they could not have done that.

As soon as Russ has finished machining the pieces for my goldeneye project and some sleeve rings for my omnis, we will be going ahead with this, probably the armament key as well.

I was always in the camp that the whole thing was one of those oversized cigar butane lighters. Between the baffled emitter at the top and the cut in the side of the cylinder (to allow a user to see how much fluid was in the reservoir) it always seemed clear to me what it was. Never could find one that looked like it, though.

I recognized the clear acrylic tips as a part from a Coast flashlight and as I had a similar one it was quite evident (at least to me) that the rest was all custom made.

I remember the arguments over at ASAP that a small hole was really a Apple logo... funny how crappy screencaps can fool people.

Awesome! Can't wait!

Your goldeneye project is still a go? Is it too late to inquire?

hey guys, its been about a year since anyone else last posted on here, but I just joined this site and it seems like a great community. I have been a fan of the series and looking for a good replica of this key, and I was wondering what, if any progress has been made.
