That's the quantum rectifier adjustment nozzle or QRAN for short. It's used to supply Negative Ions to the ballast tank or bleed them off in case of extreme quantum flux while in hyperspace.

Looks like a part depicting a battleship optical targeting turret, upside down. [playing the "straight man" of this duo...]
Oh, I was speaking of the 'QRAN' not the 'NIMROD'... I think.

Can anyone ID the parts I highlighted in red for the 32 inch? I cannot find a 32 part map and studioscalemodelers.com has not approved my membership. Thanks for any help!
Has anyone come up with where these are from?
Done told ya... that's the QRAN!LOL... Honestly... I'm surprised that as many parts have been identified that have so far. I used to have a link to a site that had possibly 80% of the parts and kits used listed. I'll see if I can find it. I do know that most of the donor kits are impossible to find anymore. Althou, maruska is attempting to recreate alot of the kits and parts tht were used for printing in 3D. So many of them are still in the air!
Did you even look at the picture? :lol This one is from a while back, not the conversation from the previous page.
I made a 3d model for that part, the 'legs'would just have to be heated up and bent to shape.

The top of the pit is about 1 inch exact from corner to corner. The bottom is 2 & 3/8ths inches from corner to corner without the curve taken into account. The sides are 2 & 1/4th long each. Let me know if you need more.I think the piece you found , i shaved off of the legacy falcon.
Yeah I will re model tonight or tomorrow, maybe take some measurements for me for scale. The pit length will do.
They definitely look like underside pits but I couldn't tell you who the maker is.
Also if you need reference photos for the 32" Falcon check here's a link to a pretty large album of some good photos
