I picked free shipping.....waited this long a few extra days will not kill me. I still have my other sonics to play with in the mean time.

Just checked my shipping with USPS from BBC America and it will be here on Saturday! Can't wait! I am going to record a unboxing and review video and post it here! SOO EXCITED! CANT WAIT. I'd like to thank all the people at The Wand Company and David Tennant. I know how much pain must have gone into this with all of the orders. So happy you guys (The Wand Company) managed to stick through it all. Thanks again!

I ordered mine in mid-September, but I've been emailing the guys at Firebox to keep up to date with where their stock levels are. I got the email last night.

Oh, bugger. Same here, mid-september. Early November is at least 7 days away...
That's terrible news. But I don't get it. I've been keeping an eye on the pre-order expectation thing and since last Sunday it said "expected in 2-4 days" and like in the past few weeks today it states: "expected in 2-4 weeks. My conclusion from that is that they have received the shipment already.
Oh well...

They haven't received their stock yet - see my post #635 above. (It's in customs clearance right now and going out to them today.)

I'm honestly not sure, they haven't been the most helpful replies... However at least they do reply unlike some! I Emailed them this morning asking about the shipment that Richard B mentioned last night, and they said that they were expecting their stocks to be replenished "Any day now" (They've been telling me this for weeks). However they ask that we give them time to unpack the stock and allow for delivery. I have mine on Express Delivery, so it should be next day.

Yeah, sorry for the misunderstanding to Richard, but delivery by firebox is actually what I was commenting about. Like you expect to have it tomorrow because you chose express delivery, how can they say early November? But ok, never mind.

Just got a mail that my sonic will be sent as soon as it's arrived and ready for shipment, which is apparently soon.
Got a notice that my BBCA order shipped last night as well!
When these ship, I want to see a picture of Richard with his feet up on the desk, cigar in his mouth, and a glass of his favorite drink celebrating the fact that he no longer needs to act as universal customer service for 10ish different companies.
Richard, you have the patience of a saint! I've said it before but you and TWC really are knocking it out of the park on this one. Way to go! I hope the entire team knows how much we truly appreciate the hard work you've all put in to bring this thing to market.

Update from Firebox: "We are expecting the Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote Control on our shelves next week! There may be a few extra days once it arrives at our warehouse just to make sure that it's all good to go!"

Just got my sonics in!
I bought two of them (one as a gift and one for myself) and noticed a couple of things I wanted to ask:
1) One of the two sonics are tighter than the other, where the slider is tough to push open or close. The other, when fully opened up, sits loosely and rattles. I'm not sure which is supposed to be right?
2) One of the two had a highly knicked up emitter. The second one is pristine and clean. Who should I address for the replacement? I purchased both from BBC America.
