Just received my sonic last night! Below is a bad Iphone video. (A better one to follow)
I pre-ordered my sonic on July 18th from Firebox.com. It was sent out on Oct 11th. I did standard shipping, and received it, Wednesday, Oct 23rd.
I want to congratulate Chris and Richard for an outstanding product! First thing I did with it, after it was charged, was to try the TV-B-Gone function. It did work, but not right away has Richard had addressed in a previous post. I have a SANYO tv and it took around 30sec until the sonic reached the correct IR Code. I love the sonic. Great job to everyone at The Wand Company!

Actually, you should get it around the same time - BBC America have now received stock from us too, so they should be shipping out their pre-orders very soon.

Can you tell me the details of your local comic shop? We might like to give them a quick call - I'm not sure how they're planning to get stock of these sonics, as we're only selling to ThinkGeek and BBC America for the first few months. If they're getting them via ThinkGeek, that's OK with us - I just hope they're not expecting to buy them from one of the usual distributors to comic shops (such as Diamond or Entertainment Earth) as we currently have no plans to supply any distributors.
