New 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote

Actually, you should get it around the same time - BBC America have now received stock from us too, so they should be shipping out their pre-orders very soon.

That's nice to hear. I just assumed because on their webiste it said available on Oct. 31, and figured they wouldn't ship until then.

The Yanks are getting sonics! :thumbsup

Though the monkeys running the site are obviously guilty of a little copy and paste from the last sonic remote, as their derscription of it says....

TV with Tennant

•Gesture-based universal remote control

You are all lucky! I live in the Netherlands and ordered my Sonic from Firebox on the 24th of September...
So I don't have to expect it any time soon, unfortunately...

Any time frame on when the sonics will be back in stock for UK customers?

It was supposed to be today, but there was a ridiculously-annoying issue with the regulatory paperwork for the lithium-polymer batteries which meant that Emirates SkyCargo refused to allow the shipment onto their aircraft (whereas the exact same paperwork had been fine for the previous shipments to the UK and USA with other airlines). The sonics finally landed at Heathrow with Singapore Airlines Cargo half an hour ago, so they should be cleared through customs and sent out to our UK retailers tomorrow. Sorry for the delay - it's been a rather frustrating week for us, logistics-wise.

But that doesn't mean they'll sell or ship them today.

To find out when BBC America will be shipping you have to email BBC America.

BBC America confirmed to us in the last hour or so that they're shipping out almost all of their pre-orders today. However, they've continued to receive more orders than we (or they) were expecting, so a few of the most recent pre-orders can't be shipped until they receive more stock from us in a week's time. (Their website will, of course, not show the product as "in stock" until all of the pre-orders have been shipped.)

I emailex the 3 hours ago, just saiting for a response.

Then chill out. They have other things to sell and thousands of emails to respond to. Give them a chance to get back to you before you start hounding Richard. He's been extremely generous in answering questions so far, but let's try to be appreciative so that we have a greater chance of seeing more DW products from The Wand Company instead of having them run away screaming from "crazy fans."

We're all fans too, and we've been extremely patient. We all wish we had these in hand, but constantly asking for updates when NO ONE (Except for BBCA at this point) can give them to you isn't going to speed anything up. Just hold your horses, and explore the rest of the site here. There's a lot more to this community than just trying to milk licensees for information they don't yet have. They will ship when they ship.

That's great Richard, I've just had an email from the guys at Firebox saying to expect my screwdriver in early November! But if they've just arrived in the country then hopefully I'll have it a little sooner!

TheNickFox is so right. Richard is super awesome to respond to all our questions and such. Today he even called the local comic shop I'm getting mine from to make sure I can get mine. That is so above and beyond! I know of no other company that would do this. Richard's committment to his customers is the best I have ever seen.

It's very kind of you to say so, but it's definitely a team effort here at The Wand Company - I've been chatting here on the RPF, but Chris and Andrew have been busy looking after other customers in the meantime. Andrew handles all of our retailer relationships (as well as dealing with end-user enquiries), so it's really him that's been doing most of the hard (and important) work lately.
