Mynock cave - Falcon Oxygen Mask

Also I can sleep at night. I got ambitious and cut up one of the connectors I got from you and fit it to my amphenol connector.

I studied the mynock cave scene and found another interesting detail on Leias canister.

There is a flat area at the end, looks like milled for using a wrench.

And now I‘m sure they used the CO2 capsule screw to connect the hose un Leias canister. The part on Han‘s looks different. And there is a kind of rod set through the hole on the sparkler’s head, where the movable cap was attached (right above the red button).

Leia's version is very different than Hans. The one I cast up was based on Hans. Each of them were slightly different. All of the buttons are different as well. Chewies was all kinds of varied as well.

That‘s what makes building Star Wars props so interesting :).

Do you have any idea what they have used for the hose connection on Han‘s canister?

It appears to be the piece used to screw in the gas cylinder into a CO2 Seltzer Bottle. The problem is that I haven't found an exact match in 10 years of looking. Mine is an altered version of the black item in this pic.

That looks to be the right way, but I think it’s not what they used for Han. In my opinion it fits much better for Leias canister.

The part on Hans reminds me of something I‘ve seen, but I haven’t figured it out jet.

By the way, there are two white or silver dots on Hans canister. Anyone an idea what that may be? Just painted or a pair of rivets or something?

Funny that parts seems very familiar as well..

Here‘s my interpretation of what Leias canister looks like. I milled the flat ends and added a red cap to the bottom.

I got this one today. It‘s a different cartidge holder.

With a half cylinder set on top it may be really close to Han‘s version.

And very interesting: If you have a close look on Chewies canister you‘ll see the milled notches at the end, too.

Maybe they used the same canister part for all of them.
