Tom’s Falcon Oxygen mask and tank

What I'm seing on all ref images is that there is a section where both parts join that is thicker and seem to be part of the bottom can part:

Good eye eethan ! Maybe there is a second version with some grippy ridges... I don't see this on more than a handful of reference though.. hmm

I'm going to put up a bunch of public reference now. They all seem a little different.. Han's, Leia's and Chewie's. Could very well be they were cobbled together from a couple different versions of the valve, or something was added to it pre-mold... a strip of some material

Also, this is really funny, here is a .PDF I found on google called Slugs in Space. There is a shot of Chewie having a really hard time, I'll screenshot it.

Wicked photo of the fusion generator

I suppose this fits here

Since we haven’t identified the top greeblie yet, I lathed a placeholder out of… bronze? It was a lot harder than brass. Pulled from a scrap garbage bin so who knows..

So I lathed a separate section to go down inside about an inch. One of my forstner bits was just a hair smaller so this is just hammered in.. a press fit. When we ID the part I’ll yank it out lol

Anymore progress Tom?
Omg I forgot, I have a way of attaching the hose to the canister that seems to be accurate. My hose is a bit too long, ironically, but this triangular or square screw pinch theory would make the shape I’m seeing in all the photos

I’ve been hunting the red knob ferociously! 4 different areas of industry and nothing to show for it :(
