Mynock cave - Falcon Oxygen Mask

Hmm. What’s happening here?????

Looking gooooood!! I'm working on one of these myself. Seems we all had the same idea of creating a fun way to be COVID-compliant (especially at Galaxy's Edge)... I'll most likely do a fully 3D-printed canister to start and put together the mask pieces from real-world stuffs. Eventually I'll upgrade one to a "hero version" with the Sparklets nozzle...

Anybody do a run of these that are Covid compliant (or even close) please put me down for one. I work in a library and we haven’t yet opened to the public, but it’s coming and I would love one of these instead of a cloth mask...

Ok. I believe I have this sorted. Here is my closest version yet to Hans canister.

I made up 5 of the lower part and embedded a bolt so that it can be glued into the real top part. The top piece you see here is an altered CO2 spritzer. Very common on the bay. The side black piece is an altered CO2 screw housing that can often be found with a spritzer set. The lower chrome button was originally on the top and the top knob is made from the top of a vintage screwdriver. It’s the closet match I’ve found to whatever they used for the top. I will be painting the knobs and figuring a way to attach. I’ve painted this camouflage green. Looks to be close to screen used color.
Here is how the 2 main parts connect.

5 raw bottom casts going up in the junkyard. I can make more so no rush. I may cast up the knobs if there is a need.

I was very happy to find this thread. I have a correct oxygen mask and a transparent hose laying on hold for really a while. The find of the head of a soda sparkler was the needed spark .

I just got one on ebay and was very lucky to find an aluminium tube with the correct diameter. So, as I always love to do, I will make the canister in metal.

I cut off the threaded head of the bottle and milled it down to the inner diameter of the tube. I also put a massive aluminium rod on my lathe and made a piece for an end cap, so I can do the rounded edges.

The tricky part will be that one which is connected to the hose. It looks different from the ones they made for the Galaxy‘s Edge canisters.

The CO2 screw housing was, like Cameron, also my first idea. But I think it not really matches the screen shots.

My fingers are tired from trying to find the mask strap but I’m a bit closer. Check out the writing in the mask strap. If we could only make that out.

I rounded the end cap and glued it into the tube. Then I grinded all over to blend it in. I also did the slim ring you see in the original photos. I think it looks better as a single part.

Buttons cast up along with a resin bottom in case you want to do Leia’s Version. I checked and checked and never saw this on Hans.

Here is how they look painted. For attaching I put a screw in the bottom of the cast to give the clue in the knob cavity something to hold on to.

I’m sorting out the hose attachment.

Also working out some decals for the stripe and lettering and a clip. This one is from a vintage tape measure. It’s exactly what they would have laying around.

I have not read the entire thread, but I ran across this on IMA-USA, thought I would post a link for evaluation:
