And a shot of the radar dish (I've a newer updated and revised version of the dish, not this one)...

and the cabin cockpit, one tiny navigator and pilot seat...

Another sample of my MPC parts:

The cockpit is lighten with two small led under the console. As the resin is translucent, you can leave unpainted certain areas -the built in raised buttons- to simulate the real dash.

No fiber optics on the sample you can see on the image.

Another upgrade...

The cabin walls, upper and back wall, pre drilled for fiber optics lighting.

And this is a shot of a front landing gear in one piece.
The baffle is a perfect copy from the blueprints...

What do you think about this part?

MILLENNIUM FALCON BELLYTURRET FINISHED OK 2.jpg

It's a belly laser turret seen on the Ep. V. I've designed it for the MPC.

The original kit doesn't have this little detail. So you can upgrade your Falcon with a new detail!!!

This small turret is about 30 mm long. The tubing has been added later.

My old MPC was the inspiration to start creating these 3D printed parts that you can see here.

I wanted to upgrade it by scratchbuilding, but I was burning so many time. I've started with one sidewall and the docking ring, but...

So I've decided to apply my 3D skills to create the upgrades for my MPC Falcon.

The cabin cone with side consoles was one of the first upgrades.

The boarding ramp is one of the most interesting upgrades.
This is the first version of the ramp, with only 4 hydraulic lifters.

I've designed a new version, more accurate, with 6 lifters, like on the original model. And I've redesigned the system to anchor it to the hull. Not enough time yet to shoot some photos!!! :D

As soon as possible I will post the new shots of the latest version of the ramp

For those that wanted to convert the MPC Falcon to the 5 legged version seen on TESB, I've designed the two extra front landing gear boxes.

I designed them very detailed, following the original studio filming model.

These boxes are plug and play. You need to cut two small holes on the hull, to make room for the landing gear support.

These boxes have doors that can be opened and closed. A little detail.

As these parts are big, I've decided to make them in white polished plastic instead of FUD, because they will be very expensive.

I've been testing new materials for the hydraulics of the Falcon MPC ramp, and I've designed a set made in 3D printed metal, a mix with brass and other materials. In Shapeways they call it Polished Steel Nickel.

With these metal hydraulics I don't care about broken parts... Of course they're expensive, a pity...

Polished and painted the hydraulics have a nice metal look.

My MPC backwall can be lighted with fiber optics or EL sheet.

On the attached image you can see the first try to lighten the backwall with EL panel. And that's cool!

I can lighten the idiot lights and the big light panels with a single sheet of light...

This is the turret well kit before assembly:

You can see the six separate parts. Compare with the assembled turret well on the shot of the previous post.

Another view of my turret well kit...

You can see the detail.

Detail from the from landing bay boxes that I've designed to convert the ANH Falcon (5 footer) on the ESB version (32 inch).
You can see also my front landing gear, that fits perfectly my boxes.

The bay doors can be opened and closed.

On the cabin cone I've added a reinforcement just to avoid misprints. The part is stronger during the printing process.

When you receive the part, you only need to trim it.

Tony the docking rings are wonderfully detailed do you plan to do the sidewalls for the MPC falcon as well?
Thanks Toolminator!!

This is my plan, to design a short sidewall kit for the MPC, 5 footer accurate. it will take a while, but this is my intention.

I will be posting here when I've news about it!

Cheers
