movies you like that everyone else hates

Great direction by Steven Spielberg, fantastic score by John Williams, standout performances from Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw.

Yep, everybody sure hates this movie!

Ya. Not to mention you don't get to see the shark until the very end because it wasn't working. Piece of garbage on film! lol

I loved the Dune movies, but you have to have read the books first to know what is going on...
I've never read the books or seen the movie. But when the movie was released in 1984 I had a brief discussion about it with a co-worker who had seen it. His main comment was, "I've read all of the books, and I still couldn't follow the movie." :lol

<snip all the Kristen Stewart/Twilight commentary>

It matters not how old she was when the movie came out. The simple fact remains that Kristen Stewart could not act her way out of a wet paper bag and has all the on-screen charisma of a block of wood.

You REALLY don't want my opinion of Twilight.

This is true, but it still helped to have an idea of what was behind things. It also made for a lot of WTF moments.:lol

I almost forgot one of my favorites... Jason X.

EDIT: SuckerPunch. Loved the movie. Eminently quotable, and deeper than most people realize (especially if you watch the Extended Cut).
