I'm 5'11" I can go try them on, but I'm 175lbs so unless she's near my size it's going to look odd.

Time to revisit the robes again.
Truth be told as a 6 footer the L/XL is more like 4" to short if I go by the 501st CRL(1" off the ground). They stop at like the bottom of my shin. But the film shows the robe gathering on the floor. I honestly was very heart broken when I first put it on to find it short on me. Ian Mcdirmaid is 5'10 which is only 2 inches shorter then me so even they would be short on him. And Mcdirmaid looks like a M or L nothing bigger. The original robe looks a bit longer then this. I'm not sure where Disney came up with this length for L/XL. I exaggerated when I said only 1" because I was so disappointed at the time.
Options are go baggy with 2XL or prepare for a flood with L/XL. I don't get it. But the material folded at the bottom has another 1.5" that could be added if I get it re hemmed. Disney should have gone long to allow people to get the right length they need. This is costuming 101.
But another truth is, 95% of the time this will be on display any way. I work like over 40 a week and I have 3 other costumes I normally wear to conventions if I get time off work to go. So there is no point in taking the time to exchange for 2XL and pinning it. Although I still plan on going as Palpatine for IX premier. My plan is to find or make another inner robe that's longer to somewhat hide the short robes. It would look way better then nothing covering my feet. And due to Christmas coming up I'm stuck using the Rubies cane for now. I just ordered it. As far as the shash I may have a seamstress divide it in half length wise, as it's very wide, to help create the tied in the front look. I searched online and still can't find material close enough.
The costume still looks amazing on display and is worth the money. Advice from me is 5'10+ go 2XL/3XL
The form I'm using now is a Frankensteined mannequin torso sitting on a vacuum cleaner box. I need a new mannequin! I also plan on getting a regular latex mask for the display. I'm aiming at the one made by Ogawa Studios in Japan.

I just got the bluetooth comlink off ebay for slightly under the retail price at GE.
If I recall correctly these were originally available at the Launch Bay for $60.
It's a nice little replica. I love that it comes with a belt clip holder. The only major con is that it's a very weak sounding Bluetooth speaker. It will be fine for phone calls. Don't bother using it for music or anything else. The volume is half as loud as my phone's speaker.

I'm glad that made it safe, I was really worried about that one.
I guess I'll stick with my 2/3X robes then at this point. I just think the sleeves look a little ridiculous on the mannequin, but it's close enough I suppose. I'm also thinking about that mask, but I haven't been able to find pictures of it actually in person as opposed to manufacturer promo pics to decide if it's worth it.
I also need to figure out the sash situation.
Still, overall for the price I'm happy with the robes.
