I would also like to know what size is best for me. I want floor length but not be wrapped in 20,000 yards of fabric. I'm 6' 195 lbs.
You're my mannequin size, haha.
I'm 6'2" and around 270. The 2/3X is big by a few inches on me and feels like I'm swimming in fabric, but it is the right length. I feel like on the mannequin it's going to look ridiculous.
I've not seen the L or XL on anyone as they didn't have them on that particular day when I was shopping for them, they since have restocked but I've not gone back and tried the different sizes on, I would guess the XL would be pretty close to the right size though. If you can pin it and it look good it's probably worth just doing that as as I'm sure your aware those robes are big and heavy and going through the park with them is a pain in the butt and your friend probably doesn't want to carry them around lol.
Ok, I was able to get out there today and get some photos of the instruments for you.I looked them up, there's the "Figrin D'an Musical Instrument" and the "Max Rebo Musical Instrument" (or it might be Droopy McCool, I couldn't read the tag in the image, it was really blurry). I found a video of the Figrin D'an one, it looks pretty awesome, but I couldn't find anything on the Rebo/McCool one.
Ah well. Guess I'll see them when I go in December. Definitely going to buy the Figrin instrument at least.
Ok I took a much closer look at this today as well and it's almost entirely metal with only some plastic accents. It's nice and well made looking.Predatormv, what are your thoughts on the Obi Wan Ep1/2 saber? Are the comparable to the Black Series or are they plastic detailed? Do you know what those and the blades are selling for? Also, do they have them in stock? I am really interested in getting one of those. Thank you, really awesome that you are helping out folks that cannot get there!
Awesome, thanks! I'm definitely going to have to get a set when I go.Ok, I was able to get out there today and get some photos of the instruments for you.

You are not wrong, the Obi and I think one other are super light, all the others are very heavy, I'm guessing they Mill those ones out of aluminum and thus they don't weight anything. The others might be something else metal wiseOddly enough got to handle this specific one the other day that a friend had bought. What's significant is that, at least w/ the Ob-Wan saber, is that it's stupid lightweight. I'm likely to pick up one or 2 of those sabers in December and I'll see how those are, but I still have my R1 Vader and did have their first parks exclusive Kylo w/ removable blades, both of which have that heavy and beefy feel. Could just be unique to the Obi-Wan though
Ok so I've had the chance to try on both the 2xl and the L/xl Emperor's robes and for someone 5"11 and 175lbs the L/XL is for sure the correct size. I'm going to post pictures of both sizes the first ones will be the L/XL the second will be the larger. Now in the larger photos I'm wearing different shoes that add a bit of height so the length looks like it's ok but it's a bit longer, and if you were wearing thin slippers or similar it might drag in the ground.
I'm both standing straight up and haunched slightly over to show the difference in how the costume looks depending on posture in the first set of pics. And I'm not wearing the underrobe in either set just regular clothes.
My wife and I said the same thing, it's really nice in person. I have been very impressed overall with the quality of the soft part costumes they have. These pics really make me want the Emperor's robe now. Might have to pick one up.
