Glad you like it, I'd install the LEDs, then glue both halves together and fill the seam with bondo. The battery can be inserted from the front at anytime.

Up to you guys on sanding vs xtc... Both have their places. Feel free to post any pics or questions here.

PS - anyone visiting a certain theme park in Florida may soon see my blasters in use by park "staff"...

Ah yes, but to chrome dip it I'd have to install the electronics after it was joined and the seam removed. So the trick is how to install the lights after it's been joined. [emoji6]

FYI, I used A23 12volt batteries for my prototype, hope you Aussies can get those down under...
