After read some Scott's answers about how much the hoverboard's costs will high up if they made it as a "prop replica" way, like a "made by hand" way, I was just thinking in some kind of "challenge" (not a challenge literally, because I presume that all the work will be awesome). I'm talking about Roland's, Razorsharp's and BTTF123*'s works. I'd like to suggest you guys, to make a cost's list of all the products and labor you are spenting to change the visual of the actual Matty Collector's Hoverboard, and then, when it finished, share with us and specially with Scott Neitlich.
I'm expecting that the costs will not be so damn higher as he presumed to be. This way, we can show to Mattel and to all the Back to the Future fans/consumers, that all these simple things could be done, even with or without the lenticular thing, but too much more accurate to the movie, without higher to much the board's price.
Guys, do you consider this a possibility or am I just dreaming and Scott is really right about the high costs of trying to be more accuracy? :confused
