Mandalorian Season 3

It's obvious, hindsight being 20/20, these streaming shows main focus has been to bring animated chacsters to the forefront. Issue is only those that watched the animated series know or care about it. Those that don't bother with the animated shows are left scratching their heads as to what's going on with rainbow colored characters and space cats and a droid with arms coming out of its head. The animated shows are just that, far fetched action (a friend insisted I watch a clip consisting of a lightsaber battle atop flying spaceships, was terrible) that does not translate to live action star wars, stories and plot devices that don't belong in live action star wars (a time travel thing), and the all around color pallette that doesn't mesh with star wars.

The, mandalorian show itself has shown mandalorians are completely incompetent at basic tasks, hard headed to the point of self extinction, have no concept of the world around them, and blindly follow anyone that can complete two sentences.

Those defending the prior episode on the Wall-E planet are forgetting the entire thing was scripted as is creating the entire scenario. As a whole it was a horrible idea porrly executed, cast, acted and burnt my eyeballs from rolling so far back into my head I'm still not sure what I watched. Weed is legal here in Los Angeles, safe to say lots of its being consumed to come up with this stuff. What's worse is there are people busting their rumps to get these shows on camera. Sets, props, designers, fx, stunts... Yet the end result is hot trash.

I hope I'm not mistaken for someone who cares about this show anymore by posting this, but how is this a practical ship for someone who brings in bounties for a living? There's no room for a second passenger who isn't a small puppet. Have they forgone that whole element of the "faith"?

When you're a bounty hunter and you're ship is a fighter, I think you've gone from taking live bounties to "Screw it, the death fee is pretty good too!"

All your post, totally agree with

I’ve said it before, so forgive me, my Father in Law, he’s a big war movie, western movie fan, loves everything in those genres, doesn’t watch sci-fi, he has Disney+ for the grandkids, when he got it, he excitedly told me about this bounty hunter show set in space, which was ‘The Mandalorian’, he loved it
He started drifting off it mid series 2 when Ashoka etc started showing up
He’s watched a few of Series 3, but it’s lost him, he’ll not be going back, his grandkids (including my daughter) are older, & he only kept Disney+ because of a few things, Mando being one of them, so he’s cancelled the streaming service.

Perhaps, but that leaves me just as cold. Why not have their own Rebels 2.0 series, and still have Din as he was in S1 of Mando.

Why does everything have to be a vehicle for already existing characters.
Possibly they thought Rebels ended with a nice ribbon and left it at that.IMO after Din saved Grogu he became second string. I think the new trend of using existing characters is because it’s easy, coming up with something new is hard and work,F that.Imagination is becoming a thing of the past alas.

He doesn't do any bounty hunting anymore, at least for the time being.

Bounty hunting isn't a specific element of the Mandalorian creed or "faith," it's just a profession many find themselves in because they're extremely well equip for the job. Boba Fett made a career out of it because it was his father's line of work, and he was raised by various hunters after Jango's passing. Din Djarin took to bounty hunting as a means to support his covert, but his (and his covert's) priorities have changed.

I stopped following the show, so this might be a dumb question. Is Din Djarin now a fighter pilot?

I have a question... With the multiple references to 'Beskar Alloy', am I correct in thinking that most Mandalorian armor is just that, an alloy, whereas Din's is pure Beskar?

I mean, that would explain Boba's dent, right?

I'm also seeing why Din has stayed shiny. He's got to stand out amongst a plethora of Mandos.

I think it's more like he stands in the shadows what others get their hands dirty..
They need to post Grogu off to the Outer rim via UPS... He will never be seen again.
I don't like JBs acting except in The Foofighters vid "Learning to Fly"
Why oh why does he always seem. to take the back seat in his own show.. Saying that I do really enjoy Bo Katan..

My expectations have been appropriately adjusted to see the show through the lens of a live-action Saturday morning cartoon. The sudden and spontaneous appearance of the massive remnant base on Mandalore, Moff Gideon’s Cobra Commander monologue, and his demand for the “power of the dark saber” all suits this point of view nicely.

The appearance of the Praetorian Guard is a reminder that, well, all roads lead to The First Order, and…

An entertaining enough episode .

I think that is the correct understanding. Most Mandalorian armour is a alloy of Beskar and Durasteel (like Mando's S1 suit). Not many Mandalorians have pure beskar armour as it is so rare.

"Project Necromancer" was a bit on the nose..

Also weird that Gideon lost is stache

Mando’s who work at Walmart have Beskar alloy, those in management roles have pure Beskar.
